Babies (So Tall Board Books)

Perfect book for baby shower gift or new babys or baby's first birthday. Gorgeous illustrations of babies of all races playing, eating, sleeping, etc... A favorite of my own as child and sure to be a favorite of little ones today too.

I loved the Gyo Fujikawa books when my son was little. The ones that we did not read to pieces, my grandkids read to pieces. My younger brother & his wife became a grandparents this fall. I brought a new copy of this book to them last week when we were visiting, they were thrilled! They had this same Gyo Fujikawa book which their kids had worn out.

We actually had this book for our children in the late 70s. The things our kids loved about it are still true - simple text describing beautiful illustrations of babies in all of their activities and moods, subtly multicultural. Our children loved paging through this board book until they were 3. Bought for our new grand-niece.

This is the book I buy for nearly every baby shower I attend! The pictures of the babies are diverse, and so beautifully done. I enjoyed it when I was a kid, and my own children lived looking at it when they were young, too.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend with a new baby and a two year old. The two year old just loves having this read aloud to him! The pictures are so sweet and it’s a durable board book so just right for handling by little ones.

We have used this book for many years as gifts to first time parents. With this last order we were preparing to send one of these books to a new mom and her father said don't send it , we gave her the one you gave us when she was born, yes, it's a very good book.

This beloved family book is missing the green title spread on the inside page as well as 3 double spread pages (6 total) inside. It’s missing the blue background page where the babies eat and sleep, and pages where they grow. Seems these were “seconds”. My daughter still loves the book but I’m disappointed

I loved this book when I was little. The illustrations are lovely without being sickly sweet. Now I have bought it for my new granddaughter. I hope she enjoys it as much as I did...

We have owned several of these because we've worn them out after six children and seven grandchildren. We have given many as baby gifts. So beautifully illustrated and soothing to read aloud.
