I seldom leave reviews but my love for this contraption is such that ill make an exception.I suffer from chronic migraines with aura. The migraine hat alone would never be enough to mitigate one (only medication does that) but boy does this help.lets see..- When you first open the box, it looks like a giant back brace and you think to yourself “oh no what have i done“.Fret not, after 5 minutes you realize it really is quite easy to put on and wrap.- It’s well made and sturdy.If the wrapping really is too much for you well it keeps its shape nicely so you can just slide it on and off. I personally like wrapping it very tightly for maximum face coldness- The ice pack is one solid piece so you aren't dealing with 10 mini gel puffs that cool unevenly. its one big all around cold pack. Depending on how you adjust it you can choose to either have the ice pack press again your eyes to cool them or have them unencumbered to blink away as much as you'd like.-provides total darkness-can be pushed up to cool head and sides but leave face and eyes free if you so wish it.- the ice pack is removable so the wrap itself need not go in the freezer and acquire funky smell for the smell sensitivity.-Stays cold for 5-6 hours (much longer than most others i tested)- Some have complained about the weight. yeah its heavy (2-3 lbs) a solid real ice pack. I'm 5’3, 99 lbs, weak as hell and have back problems... however this has given me no neck issues to report. I mean its a migraine helmet, maybe if you where walking around the house all day sure it might be a bit much... but its a migraine helmet, you put it on and lay dow, its weight hasn't been an issue for me at all, on the contrary i love it, its heftiness provides essential ice pack to head contact which helps so much.If your specific type of migraine is the sort that wont tolerate any weight on you whatsoever this is absolutely not for you, but it really isn't much heavier than most so maybe migraine wraps aren't for you.That about covers it. I love this, no ice pack has ever been as wonderful as this in migraine pain relief. I recommend this to anyone suffering from crippling migraine pain. I cant believe I ever lived without it !

This product WORKS. I suffer with chronic migraines and purchased this for my headaches which tend to cluster at my temples, behind my eyes, and across my forehead. This hat is AMAZING for the pain. The pressure is so comforting, and is adjustable to your comfort. The ice packs are in every part of the hat, meaning all the way around AND on the top. That alone sets this hat above the others. The gel packs in it freeze fast and are moldeable, and they deliver lots of cold. I am a grown woman and this hat fits my head very well and is very adjustable with Velcro. The strong elastic band goes around your face and allows you to control how much pressure is on you. It comes down over my nose but I have no trouble breathing while wearing it. I’ve even worn it to sleep! I’ve struggled with trying to use normal ice packs while I lay down and this is the solution. Even when it thaws it doesn’t get wet or leak. If you suffer with headaches or migraines it’s clear: buy this product.

I sometimes awake in the middle of the night with a migraine at the top of my head-which is why I ordered this. It's kind of a clumsy device to apply--especially in the middle of the night--but whenever I've used it (and I know I'm not applying it correctly), it has provided tremendous relief. The flap for the top of the head works wonders-I don't wrap it across my eyes, just stick it on my head and place the velcro straps wherever I can. I've been able to fall comfortably back to sleep and wake up without a headache.

I've been experiencing daily headaches for years, and I've tried a lot of different ice packs, but none of them have provided the relief I need. I purchased it in late 2022 and unfortunately, in September of 2023, the gel started leaking out due to a seam separating. However, I reached out to the company and they replaced it for free - their customer service is truly exceptional. I can't recommend this product enough - it's worth every penny. So I received this today and I haven’t had a chance to use it yet (which is good, no migraine) BUT I did want to write a first impression review. It seems very well made and is exactly what I was searching for to ease my chronic migraines. Anytime I have one I rely on ice packs on my eyes, the back of my head/neck, just depending on how bad it is or where exactly it’s hitting the worst. I find myself also putting pressure on my face with my hands or my facial massager since mine typically effect my eyes and surrounding my eyes. I knew I wanted something with all around cooling, as well as compression and I think this will do perfectly! I have a weighted eye mask that helps but tends to come off as I sleep. This doesn’t seem like it will budge much if any. I will make sure to update when I’ve had a chance to really use it but first impression is great!UPDATE: this product is awesome! I’ve been having a lot of issues recently with my migraines. Mostly due to stress and this gives so much relief. It helps instantly. Sometimes I’ll even use just the ice pack inside. It stays cold for several hours and it’s become my go-to for migraines.
