EXCELLENT
I recently picked up the HS325A Heavy Duty Aluminum Copper Ratchet Cable Cutter from the Dechengbao Store, and I have to say, it’s an absolute game-changer for anyone working with larger cables. As someone who frequently deals with aluminum and copper wire for electrical projects, I needed a tool that would make clean, effortless cuts through thick cables—and this cutter does just that. The first thing that impressed me about the HS325A was the ratcheting mechanism. This feature makes cutting through cables feel almost effortless. The ratchet provides a lot of leverage, so even with tougher, thicker wires (up to 240mm²), I didn’t have to put in nearly as much effort as I expected. The ratcheting action also allows for a more controlled and precise cut, ensuring the cable ends are smooth and clean every time. Whether I’m cutting through copper, aluminum, or other wire types, this tool has handled them with ease. What also stands out is the heavy-duty construction of the cutter. It feels incredibly solid in hand, with high-quality materials that ensure durability and long-lasting performance. The handles are designed for comfort, which is great for longer cutting sessions, and the ergonomic grip prevents hand fatigue. I’ve used other cutters in the past that were either too bulky or uncomfortable to handle for extended periods, but this one strikes the perfect balance between strength and comfort.Another huge bonus is the wide cutting range. The HS325A can cut wires up to 240mm², which covers a lot of the sizes I regularly work with. The tool is versatile enough for both professional-grade work and DIY projects. It's also fairly lightweight for the amount of power it packs, making it easy to store and carry around when needed. If you're someone who works with electrical wiring and needs a reliable, heavy-duty cutter, this HS325A is absolutely worth considering. It has made my work faster, easier, and more precise, and I can tell it’s built to last. I also appreciate how the Dechengbao Store provides a solid product at a competitive price, making it an excellent value for the quality it offers.Overall, the HS325A Ratchet Cable Cutter is a must-have tool for anyone working with thick cables or looking for a more efficient way to cut through wire. It’s powerful, durable, and comfortable—definitely a top-quality tool that I highly recommend.

Good for cost
Great for solid cores not so good for flexible cable.

Work Well!
Had been looking at sets of these for work but they were hundreds of pounds. Was recommended these by a colleague so at the price they were gave them a chance and ordered a set.Came well packaged and are good quality. Have no problems cutting through various sizes of cable and as they are being used the blade seems to be getting sharper. For the price these work very well and do exactly what they are intended too. I will definitely replace with another set when the time comes.

Broken already
This hasn't even lasted me 2 months. Gave this light use cutting copper cable. First the release switch broke on it. Now the spring mechanism has just fallen out of it. Shame as it did a good job at cutting the cable.

Swa cutters
Work great with all flexes I’ve used so far, and I know they are not meant to used for cutting swa but I have used them to cut 35mm2 5core swa and although was tough they got through it, seemed to struggle with the smaller swa (1.5mm2)

It's ok, but doesn't cut all swa sizes well
For 3 core 10mm swa, it's fantastic going straight through it.I tried it on 5 core 25mm swa and it only got halfway. Also tried it on 3 core 1.5mm swa and it went through 99% and then the last few strands of armour got jammed in it.

Cuts through SWA like butter
Was sceptical as to how good this would be given “name brands” are 3x the price. Didn’t try it on 25mm SWA but goes through 6mm and below like butter, 10mm wasn’t so clean but it did the job. Well worth the money, even if it doesn’t last as long as the other brands.
