Tall but functional
The rack arrived in great shape and the build quality is good. The aluminum welding looks ok and the pieces fit together well.I own a flat top trailer and in its standard for the rack would sit about 16 inches above the roof. I wasted happy with that so cut the side mounts down as low as possible without damaging the structural integrity.I can't see how to make it any lower and it still sits about 12 inches off my trailer roof.In my opinion, this is too high and that's why I gave it only 4 stars. It functions great but just looks weird being so tall off the top of the trailer.Once I'd cut the side supports down, the install was pretty simple. Another reviewer suggested pre drilling the holes for the self tapping screws, I tried this, but honestly it was easier just letting the screws do the work with the impact driver. One screw sheared, so take it easy with the impact and just tighten the screws until the rubber washer starts to squash. I drilled a separate hole and put a bolt through.I was also missing a couple of the shorter screws, but had two longer ones. They are not interchangeable, so I used a couple I had on stock. In summary, practical roof rack, but not as low and aesthetically pleasing as I would have liked, but I'll make it work.

A good item!
I like it. Easily customizable (I cut the legs down on mine). It's great to have that option...easier to make shorter than longer/taller. My only concern, though not yet validated, is I think it could use some gussets where the uprights are welded to the mounts. Like others, I used larger screws to mount the thing, but not necessary..just what I had, so drilled-out the mounting holes and went to town. I would MUCH prefer to have smaller holes that I can make bigger, than have larger holes that are impossible to make smaller, but that's just me. Because it's adjustable and my trailer is only 5-feet wide, the sliding part is doubled-up all the way across. This thing would support the Brooklyn Bridge before it bends. Obviously, the wider your trailer is, the less the insertable part is inside the receiving part, but it doesn't really matter unless you are point-loading right in the center of your trailer. Use your noggin' and you'll be tickled pink!

Great product. May need to replace screws with somthing a little bigger.
Well made product, Easy installation, light weightThis rack does the trick you can fit it on however you like and its fully adjustable. I do have one thing to say tho. Make sure when you are mouting it that the screws are going into the frame of the trailer and do not over tighten. The screws that come with it strip out easily. If you have to add a backing piece ie, angle iron or 2x4 if needed. Also the self tapping screws are very hard to screw through the metal. I would recommend drilling very small pilot holes. Make sure there small tho or the screws may not hold. If needed replace the screws with something with a wider thread or a bolts and washers and locking nuts. You will also need to be able to cut the aluminum cover sleve to size but over all this is a great product.

Decent Rack
I put four of them atop my 16 ft x 7 ft wide trailer. They are nicely made, but when you get a little bit of weight in the center they are what I would consider a bit flimsy. But, it is what it is and does the job. Wish this company made a HEAVY DUTY ladder to get on top of the trailer...like an RV ladder only with a 300 lb rating.

Be carful and read all the details
This is a great product, but per the YouTube videos and everything I saw for this model it should go from one side to the other. The actual product the sent runs front to back in parallel, so in order to put a ladder on it you either have to buy cross members, or you canโt. I ended up buying $100.00 in aluminum square tubing to make it work. It is great quality and is very sturdy, just not really a ladder rack

Yes, easy to install and exactly what you need.
I cannot rememeber the last time I was inspired to give any product I've purchased 5 stars but this one really does deserve it. Its so rare that a product comes around that's actually does what its supposed to simply and easily. If you watch the installation video and follow the instructions, you will have a sturdy, well assembled rack for the top of your trailer. Thank you for making a product that works and nothing else.

Great simple rack
For the price you canโt beat it. Made some alterations to mine and made it removable as well. This is about as simple as it gets and a nice no frills product. I had a hard time finding a rack that would spread past 70โ as my trailer is 76โ and this goes well beyond that.

Great rack. Fits well.
Easy to install. Just what we needed for our small covered trailer.
