I haven't tinkered around with it that much but it's first impressions aren't good
I wanted to get this for my mom so she could watch her home countries TV stations through IPTV. It's honestly really annoying.1. The keyboard is layed out like an actual keyboard. So when your over something like "v" and press up on the remote, your not really sure if it'll move up to "f" or "g" cause they are both up-left or up-right.2. I don't like how you have to setup an email to download from the playstore. My mom is old school as hell and never ever checks her email. I tried using mine, but something with this device, made google think this device was my cell-phone and that cause a whole lot of problems. I wanted to use my moms but no one knew the password. Like I said, she never uses it.3. When I got the app, this was the only device it didn't work on correctly. Once again, I think this device is like some quasi-bizarre pseudo jailbroken cell-phone turned into a small tv box. Every app displays in vertical position with all the options listed how they would be on a smartphone. None of them I was able to maximize and use the full real estate of the TVs they were connected to. Oddly enough, a first generation Amazon Fire and a DUNE box were able to do it right away.4. Options barely, if at all, highlight or give some indication your "moused over" them. You have to use like differential analysis to be able to confidently click on something. I don't mind that much. But my mom who just started using Smart Apps within the past year isn't going to figure it out easily.5. Remote can be either good, not great, but good, to downright unresponsive.I don't return things usually to Amazon, and I'm not going to with this. I picked it out and bought it. It's on me. But this thing might be good for some people, but for someone who bought this for an elderly immigrant parent, it's pretty abysmal.

Bought it for the ram
I was using an original firestick in my bedroom for streaming, which did an excellent job with streaming apps, but i wasn't happy with the app options from amazon and prefer google play. i also use kodi a lot and the firestick struggled compared to my HTPC in my living room, so i wanted the 4gb of ram. i have to say, even though i was unhappy with the amazon app store, they do make sure all the apps are configured for the stick to run on a tv. i have issues with some apps running on this android box.Beyond that, it comes pre-configured with rockchip version of kodi, which isn't upgradable, so many add-ons lose their sources by not being run on the latest version of kodi. Even with the 4gb of ram, kodi still struggles and runs slow, just as bad as the my 1gb firestick, sometimes it just closes too. the firestick only gave me issues like that if i tried to rewind or fast forward. this box will do it for no apparent reason.The built in user interface kind of sucks. I ended up downloading a 3rd party app launcher to make it more user friendly, and pretty much wiped out all the preinstalled apps and downloaded fresh ones from the play store. normal streaming apps like tubi and youtube run fine, but take a long time to load.The provided remote is awful, to the point where its pretty much unusable. if an app isn't specifically made for a tv, you need to have an air mouse to move the screens up and down, the arrow buttons on the remote do nothing. and the air mouse function of the remote doesn't have a gyroscope, so you enable the pointer and then use the arrow keys to move the curser around. it is painfully slow and inaccurate. if you buy this box, purchase an android/kodi remote as well. they all usually have a gyroscope inside, so you just have to move your wrist around to move the curser and most have a qwerty keyboard on the underside.

It's a lemon
I understand that this box has great reviews, that is why I bought it. But mine was a lemon. After I finally got it setup, the controller started glitches. Then the box refused to boot and I had to do a factory reset, losing all of my apps. Then it refused to boot again. It is going back.

needs better hardware
I didn't care for this Android TV box due to its limited customizing ability and the cheap hardware. But I will admit if you're tight on cash and needed something for like a road trip or an RV , this would be an okay option in a pinch.

Must have a good internet connection.
Sometimes the signal get weak but I think is because of the satellite up there. Yes, you will need a good I tenet connection.

Bad quality
It was not easy to set up. Finally after two months, the TV box stopped working.

What to do?
Need suggestions as to how to get it to work on our LG TV model 47LV4400. Will it not work on this TV? Followed the three step directions to no avail. Can you possibly help?Would rate the quality of the features if there were any.
