Gourmet USA Turkey Tendons by Sancho and Lola’s (12 Ounces) 100% Natural and 100% American Dog Chew Treat - A Healthy Snack for Healthy Pups

We used to order the cow tendons from the same company for our standard poodle which he really likes. Unfortunately, our dog would vomit after swallowing the tendon without fully chewing them. So we switched to turkey tendon and we haven’t had the issue. Unlike other brands that use U.S. sourced tendons in Vietnam, these tendons are made here in the U.S. which is always a good thing. Finally, compared to cow tendons, these are definitely more expensive.

Not sure what process is used to make these Turkey Tendon chews, but they are "drier" (less chewy, less pliable) than the slighly pricier competition.My dog loves Turkey Tendon chews, but this brand tends to "splinter" and get caught in her throat sometimes causing coughing. The other brand (also here on Amazon) never does.

My little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel loves this treat. He will carry the beef tendon treat around for hours in his mouth before he eagerly eats it. He will nap with the treat under his little chin. So much pleasure & enjoyment for a small price. It also appears to be healthy. A must buy for us!!

This HUGE package of tendons arrived today. The large supply is expensive, but it will last a long time. My old diabetic dog loves these and she enjoys a treat every day. The kinds of treats she can have are limited and turkey tendons--though quickly consumed--are agreeable to aging canine digestion. I appreciate that these are sourced and packaged in Texas. This batch for whatever reason has given all three dogs terrible diarrhea. 😢

My Morkies, 9# Lily and 7#, Bebe LOVE these chews. I tried cutting them into smaller pieces, but didn’t have anything strong enough. Once she had eaten all she wanted, Bebe hid one in the corner of the bed we 3 share. One night just after we went to bed, ants began biting me. I quickly started stripping everything off the bed and found a 6” piece of beef tendon and about 500 ants. Talk about nightmare... it took about 2 hours of vacuuming, spraying the bed platform, the floor and outside the bedroom and changing the bedding before I felt it was safe to lay down again.Now they only get smaller pieces outside. I used a large pair of tin snips to cut them. And it wasn’t easy.

I have two totally different dogs. A Chesapeake Bay Retriever and a Bichon/Maltese mix. They BOTH come running for them; grab them and run away to their places to enjoy in their glory! 🐶🐾
