The Norton Psychology Reader

Excellent collection
I bought this book after discovering that Yale psychologist Paul Bloom used it in his introductory psychology course and was not let down. Marcus succeeded in providing the reader with an array of the best writing in psychology today. The book may be a little outdated, but the ensemble of featured psychologists represents some of the best that the field has to offer - including James, Freud, and Chomsky. I read this during my time as a psychology undergraduate and found it very enjoyable and informative. It is a good choice for psychology undergrads or more advanced learners, as well as interested laypeople.

Timely and in Excellent Condition
I ordered this book to use with the Yale Open Course Intro to Psychology. I haven't started the course yet, so I haven't used the book but in perusing it the articles look good. I was especially pleased with how quickly I received this book and what great condition it's in. When it was listed as "used - like new" they weren't kidding. Thank you!

Very interesting!
I had to buy this for an intro to Psych class as a Psych major, but loved it so much I am keeping it! It contains many classical studies, some of which are considered unethical nowadays. It is very interesting and easy to understand, even for someone who does not know much of psychology.

I bought this to go with an on-line course. Although only selected readings were assigned, I have read the whole book. I have learned so much, and enjoyed it. I would recommend the book highly.
