World's Greatest Gospel Songs for Piano & Voice: 70 Gospel Favorites

I chose a five star rating because the music is easy to read (size of the notes is good), has wonderful chords throughout that I found easy to 'dress up and add to" as I play, has both introduction and ending for each song, and I am familiar with most of the pieces. I wanted a book of hymns that would be familiar to the audience that I play for. I use it frequently for quiet music before church starts as well as occasional 'special' music.The only negative has been that the pages do not stay flat as it is a bound book of music. My solution (actually my husband's) to this issue has been to use two small bag clips to hold the pages in place--unobtrusive and it works.

The songs have good cord arrangements for intermediate players.The book is hard to keep open and would be so much better if it had a spiral binding.

So easy to read. My only complaint is that it doesn't come in a spiral bound book.

Good pieces. Voice range for songs higher than expected as per the way it was advertised. A bit more challenging than intermediate.

Great arrangements that are fairly easy for the intermediate player. Our congregation loves to sing to theses arrangements by Jerry Ray!

I wish there were a few more contemporary classics. I already have 90% of these songs. But I can add freshness by learning several of the songs in Jerry's style.
