Great puzzles
I bought this for my mother-in-law who is inpatient rehab. She loved it.

Small print
I'm in my sixties, and even with glasses I have a hard time reading the clues and their numbers. The puzzles themselves vary quite a bit in their difficulty. I can solve some of them, but others stump me. My 91-year-old mother is an expert NYTimes puzzlers, so I often have to ask for her help.

These puzzles rock!
I’ve always found the Monday and Tuesday puzzles to be fairly easy to solve and fun to do, but could never really make much headway with the Wednesdays. I was therefore hesitant to order this book. So far I’ve worked about a quarter of the way through and have done pretty darn well. At least I’ve completed each puzzle, not all perfectly, but close. I’ve been doing crosswords for maybe fifteen or twenty years and I’m certainly not an intellectual whiz, but have been slowly improving at them. I use only a crossword dictionary and a regular dictionary as aids. I have really enjoyed the challenging puzzles in this book. The clues are clever and the themes imaginative. NY Times and Will Shortz are the tops in crosswords IMHO!

Extremely Challenging Crossword Puzzles!
I love working crossword puzzles. Usually I do quite well with them. However, I wasn't aware of how challenging The New York Times crosswords are! It took me double the amount of time I would normally spend solving a crossword, to complete each of these. If you are looking for extremely challenging crossword puzzles, this is the book for you!

When you need something to take your mind off the world but don’t want to tear your hair out found Sunday’s!

I like choosing the level of difficulty for myself.
When there was no water or electricity in Austin, I did crossword puzzles. Will Shortz has no errors in his publications.

climbing the puzzle ladder
I have a book of assorted crosswords from the Times and got to the Wednesdays puzzles without too much cheating, so altho this is more money that I usually spend on puzzle books, it will be a pleasure to get thru this one.

Challenging.
I'm still trying to graduate from NY Times Tuesday puzzles to the Wednesday ones, I use it sometimes as a learning tool because I don't know all the answers and/or the "themes" to the puzzles. Challenging for me.

Absolutely awful
the questions and the boxes are all on one page and with very fine print. I got my eyes checked this summer and I don't need glasses and I could barely read this. The eye strain from doing these puzzles would be impossible to bare in my opinion. Additionally, the author has not indicated the number of letters; so you always have to count the boxes OR write the number of letters beside the clue.

Expected NYT quality
Enjoying the 'medium' difficulty of the crosswords that are consistent with other NYT crosswords. The only disappointed it was initially out-of-stock and took over a month to receive.

Smaller than expected and not spiral-bound
The puzzles are easier than the Sunday times but this book is half the physical size of the spiral-bound books and is NOT spiral-bound. Makes it a little more difficult to use but I still enjoy them.
