OMG !!! It works !!! And perfectly at that !!!
I'm old. I date back to dinosaurs and songs about Kodachrome. Which means that while I have 6000+ K25 & K64 slides, I no longer have my Nikon F3-HP, 55mm Macro-Nikkor, bellows and slide copier attachment - nor would they do me any good now. But I do have a daylight light box and decent jury-rigged slide copier set-up. And I have a Canon 5D, a Canon 50mm EF Compact-Macro and the 1:1 converter that goes with it. And after a few days of merciless sorting, I got things down to 660 slides and two days after that I had digitized all of them 1:1 full-frame.But there were about 50 or so slides, that I wanted to crop in camera (even though Photoshop would probably have been OK) . . . I figured for the price, what the hey. I bought one of these. Amazingly enough, it worked: 5D body, this extension tube, 1;1 converter and macro lens - f/8, aperture priority, AE, AF - AND absolutely perfect results! Here I am 2 hours later grinning and delighted. So, while I doubt I'll ever use it again, for $10 it worked like a champ. All I was hoping for was that it worked once, long enough for me to crop/edit that handful of slides in-camera. The official Canon version of this product cost 12x the price and couldn't possibly have done a better job. If you are a pro, get the Canon. If you are in it for one or two times, it's money very well spent.I am absolutely delighted with this thing and am now going to treat it to a drink and spend the rest of the evening reminiscing about the good old days before I retire it to the Closet of Forgotten Equipment. The kids will probably never look at their digital family history, but that's their loss. I did my job and feel good about myself. Maybe I'll dig out my "There Goes Rhymin' Simon" CD reissue and cry into my bourbon, weeping for the memory of the best film ever made. Here's to you Mrs. Robinson and all the nice bright colors, the greens of summer . . . and when all the world was a sunny day.

Great product, even greater price, worked fine on my Canon Rebel T3
This is a neat add on for the camera bag and it's not expensive (I got it with an Amazon lightning deal so it was even lower priced). I'm still learning, not an expert, so I like finding things that work and don't cost a lot while I'm experimenting. This acts as a spacer to give you more space to get closer to your subject, like a flower or insect. One side is designed to fit the camera, the other end to fit your lenses. It came with a dust cover cap on both ends, you have to like that. Instructions were included and were clearly worded with clear pictures as well. They even tell you to line up the white dots for certain types of lenses, red dots for other types. You will need to turn off your lenses auto focus and use manual focus with these lower cost lenses but with macro photography that's not a big issue. This product is made with a plastic housing but it seems to be sturdy and should be fine. It's currently winter here so I haven't used it much yet, just Christmas food close-ups, inside lighting, but it should do the job and for a price of $10-$12, how can you go wrong with macro experiments like an ant on a wooden gate, right? If you get real close to the subject, you may need to add extra lighting.

Decent product for the cheap price.
It does a pretty good job as advertised. If you're not on a budget, I recommend going for the higher quality product, but for the price...it did the trick.

Works as described
Follow instructions to install and make sure it clicks in, otherwise it won't work. Once installed correctly it worked fine.

Good for first time users of extension tubes...
This is a great device for the price if you just want to play around with what extension tubes can do for you before buying something better. It's plastic, so I wouldn't trust it to support heavy camera/lens combinations unless they're well supported, but other than that, it's been a terrific device for my experimentation.

Won't focus
It wont focus with any of my 4 lenses, Kenko tubes work better

Great tool to add to the camera bag
It says the autofocus will work with this, and sometimes it does, but it tends to malfunction more often then not, but I rarely want the autofocus for my maceo work anyway. Works amazing in manual mode for up close product photography. For the price, you really can't beat it!
