I use these for sculpting they are decent for what I use them for and some of them the handle was just to long but it’s wood so just cut some off.

I bought these for a specific purpose and they didn't work. I give 4 stars because they seem sturdy and they came quickly. I'm adding a revision to my previous reviewI started using these for blending and evening out oil pastels and they work beautifully. The tips are soft enough to act like paint brushes. I love these!

These arrived much earlier than the expected delivery date, which was great! I bought these to use with my polymer clay making small charms, and a few of the brushes are a bit too big for that, but they work well with painting and mark making in my art, so they were a good buy.

Nice size selection. I thought I was getting all cone shape. There are 4 flat ones and 5 cones. It is hard to see in the image. Some of the flat ones have a little burr in the middle of the tip.

I don't know how I lived without these in the past! They range in size from very small to very large. They just helped me complete an awesome cake for my son and future daughter-in-law's engagement party. Love how they smooth thru the modeling chocolate and mexican paste and not drag and tear at it. If you are doing any kind of cake project with fondant, modeling chocolate or flower paste you need these tools. I am sure they are just as fantastic on clay as well!

So just the basics, this is what you should expect:These are gigantic and far bigger than expected.The ends are soft and very malleable.There is visible glue and the metal top is falling off a couple of them.The metal is kinked in several places and definitely looks poorly made.The tips do have imperfections that may need to be re-shaped out (heat and careful smoothing or reshaping needed).Do to the size on the larger ones they are very awkward and hard to manage or handle.All that being said I am still happy I bought them, they were inexpensive and over all I like the small tools a lot. Just know what you are buying, low quality awkward, probably needs to be re-glued in places and maybe re-shaped.

Wow...I've already used these so much more than I thought I would. I'm using them for pastels on sanded paper but I've also used the real small ones for my colored pencil on suede too in a very small circular motion with very light touch. I will Oder a second set just as a backup I like them that much. I have not worked in oils lately but will try it and then add to this review.

I have several rubber tipped sculpting tools that I love and use all the time. Unfortunately, since I've had them for years, I no longer remember where I got them and there are no identifying marks that would show the original manufacturer. When I saw these tools on Amazon, I decided to order them in hopes that they were similar to what I have.Unfortunately, they aren't.For starters, they're larger than I thought they'd be, although that's not at all a problem for me. In fact, I like the larger size (see photo included). They're not all huge and I considered it a nice mix of sizes. For variety of sizes, I'd give 5 stars.Where I was disappointed, though, was in the quality. The metal ferrules pop right off of the wooden handles. That wasn't really a biggie. I just went ahead and pulled them all off and glued them on so that they'll stay. Problem solved.But there's no way for me to improve upon the quality of the rubber tips, unfortunately. I generally use my old rubber-tipped tools for more of an overall smoothing effect when creating sculpted details. They smooth in a way that metal and wooden tools cannot. However, a number of these new tools have rubber tips with tiny bumps, snags, or cracks in them. Every bump, snag, and crack on the rubber tip (no matter how small they are) creates an unwanted mark on the clay which makes the tools somewhat useless for the purpose I use them for. Other than the lack of smoothness, the overall quality and flexibility of the rubber used for the tips seems okay.When I ordered these, I was amazed at the low price for an assortment of nine tools. As it is, it was a waste of ten bucks. I would have been willing to pay double or even triple what I paid if the rubber tips had been better made.

Appears in good shape, good quality. Bigger than I thought they would be. More for big pottery use, only a couple of small tools for smaller sculpts. Only 2 shapes: pointed and wedged on both sides. For pottery. If you sculpt with polymer clay, you really need a smaller set of tools. But quality is good so I will keep them.

LOVE! these make my clay sculpture so much easier! no fighting with fingerprints, smooth shaping and nice long handles for easy gripping. Merlin was my first sculpture using the shapers...couldn't be happier!

Just as good as the art supply store ones. Lot cheaper though.

The points on the tools are not very sharp, and they all have flashing from the moulds on them. Hard to use for mould making.
