Fantastic pants. Excellent fit, quality and function especially for the price
I'll be honest- in my time ordering clothing from Amazon I've learned to expect very little....although I'm exceptionally picky and like my clothing to fit as if they were tailored AND fit even in spite of my size....both which are probably unreasonable expectations but the flip side of that is when something DOES meet or exceed those expectations it's worth making note of.These pants are one of those rare cases where I pulled a piece of clothing out of the package and from the first feel, trying on and look in the mirror the only words I could say were "Wow--- nice". As a point of reference I'm a true 6 foot 5 inches tall with an athletic 235 lb and 34 inch waist. These pants in their 34X34 size fit PERFECTLY. I have fairly large thighs and I always struggle with finding pants and jeans that fit just tight enough but not too tight-- and these fit perfectly. I'd say the sizing waist and length are DEAD on correct and the waist even has a bit of stretch to them so even if you're on the larger size of a waist size these have some room to still fit...and if you are a little smaller there's belt loops that nicely accept any belt. If I had one thing I'd change about these pants it would be I wish there was more taper down the legs but....that's silly functionally because I think most people that will be wearing these will be doing so with the likes of hiking boots and you want pants like these to go OVER what are usually some bulkier ankles/tops of those types of boots- and when you do wear them with that the fit is perfect and everything flows quite well.Materials are very nice - and perform well. For reference I recently used these pants for two different trips to Yosemite Valley; one trip it was sub 30 degrees at the warmest and snowing with light winds and the second trip daily highs were upper 40s and nights below freezing with medium wind. I shoot photography heavily when I travel so I was outside from sunrise to dark shooting for hours and these performed VERY well. The shell beads up liquids reasonably and resists wind. Don't get me wrong, these aren't North Face pants with GTX and their legendary shells that literally don't let wind through--- but these are sub-$40 pants, you're not going to get that. Similarly the fleece lining isn't the thickest thing ever and you won't be venturing out in 10 degree Sierra nights feeling toasty warm in these. But I paired them with a skin tight thermal under layer and was comfy in below freezing temperatures. Some may wish the fleece lining was a bit thicker and warmer....but I have a pair of pants that do that and the bulky look to match and I appreciate having a pair of pants that I can wear solo or over an underlayer and be warm outside at freezing temps....but at the same time are not so bulky or garish that I can't then step into the Yosemite Lodge for dinner without having to change. It doesn't hurt my girlfriend thinks I look good in these pants- and while I'm apt to wear whatever I like....she can be a tough critic and she's also usually right so...her endorsement reinforces my already high opinion of these pants. One thing to keep in mind is that- at least for me- the fit up top is trim enough that I won't be stuffing my pockets with a ton as it would be a bit bulky...but that's okay for me. When I'm travelling, out shooting or even around town I'm usually carrying at least my keys, folding knife (pocket), straight blade (belt), tactical wallet and tactical pen. Certain environs I'll add my firearm (IWB 5 o'clock) and some photo gear (batteries, cleaning gear, filters, etc....no lenses) and these pants can handle ALL that without looking unreasonably bulky. BUT if you're someone that wants their pants to be more cargo-ish and be able to tote foodstuffs, camera lenses, etc.....unless you have skinnier legs/thighs these aren't going to accomplish that without looking odd. But, again, that's a personal preference matter which- for me- matters not so I don't detract any points for that fact here.Overall I find these to be the best all around hiking/outdoor/softshell/light fleece/tactical-ish pants available for under $60 (at least-- given some pants I've tried I'd probably pay up to $75ish for a pair of these if there weren't any reasonably close alternatives for less). For under $40 the price paid is a steal and after ordering one pair I quickly ordered half a dozen more to have on reserve for current and future use. All six will be travelling with me to Tahoe twice in winter/spring 2020, Crater Lake in spring 2020, Yosemite in spring 2020 and the Oregon Coast in summer 2020. I'll bring a couple other specialized pairs but....these pants will be what I'm wearing 90% of the time on those trips--- they're THAT good.

Awesome pants
These pants were great and fit perfectly. I wear a size 32 and I went with the small and they were great and kept me warm. It was my first time snowboarding and I wanted to get something on the low side and fast. It was 28° out and snowing I didn't have a thermal layer under this and it kept me warm and fit nicely inside my snow boots.

Not Perfect Reviews, but I took a chance. They are worth buying for $19.
First of all I have been looking for winter pants that are warm and comfortable, then hopefully durable and function, then look good with an assortment of other clothes. I don't ski, but discovered ski pants are for me superior in construction that the same priced sweat pants.I searched for fleece ski pants and this item came up on sale: $19. I suppose you can technically say they are fleeced, but given that the function of fleece is to create dead air space to trap air you keep you warm, there pants don't qualify for that purpose. The layer of fleece is no thin as to have a very minimum warming value.I did find other fleece ski pants for about $20 that have much thicker fleece, are warm and comfortable. The trade off with the thicker fleece is that although these other pants are tagged as ski pants they somewhat resemble sweat pants. Whereas, this purchase is not as soft, warm and comfortable as the real fleeced lined pants, they better resemble a dresser look, like sporting pants, such as golf pants. They have plenty of pockets, and I love pockets. With belt loops they add a nice finish to the pants that with the right shirts will dress up the overall look quite nicely.I'm 6'0" 195 lbs with a 36" waist. They are a regular cut and look like a good fit, although the Large size is a bit too large in the waist for me. The elastic helps the fit and look, but there is a slight tendency of the pants that "feels like" they are slipping down, that I have to keep pulling them up. Because of this I ordered elastic belts with will keep them firmly on and up while I am more ambitiously working on my DIY chores. But because they always feels they are slipping down I definitely needed a belt so I bought a pair for $20 on Amazon. That should take care of the problem. There were a number of bad reviews about the buttons and zippers, so I expect them to be less than perfect but I bought them anyways for the more dressy look and the pockets. I wanted to buy another pair but a Medium to try them on because these pants are a bit larger fit than I need but didn't buy a medium, but the price doubled when I tried to get replace the large with a smaller size. What the heck. I'll just wear a belt and if I loose weight I'll need that belt anyways. I never wear a medium pants and don't have any. There is plenty of extra room in these pants but without looking baggy in the seat or legs but I definitely could wear another pair of tighter long pants under these if I wanted to be warmer.I like my other fleece pants for the warmth and soft lounge feel, but I like these pants for the more sporty and more regular slacks type pants. A coach would look good wearing these with a shirt and tie. So, I made the vain choice and ordered a second pair of large black pants. If you find the bargain price for $19 then I recommend buying them. Just a tip. It seems Amazon recognizes your preferences and feeds you items to look at, and even tempts you with a sale price. Then if you go back to the same item you'd find the price is changed, or some of the same identical pants in a different color would be significantly higher or lower in price. You don't know unless you check-select each item.I wouldn't buy these pants at the regular $42 each because there are too many other better options, price, quality, and features. Always Buy Quality! But be aware that there is no such item that will have all the features you want. It doesn't exist. Therefore, Spend a little more for twice the features. Sometimes you'll have to do what I am doing: buy two different of a product to get the feature you want. Check the ratings! I have been burnt for not doing that and just trusting a photo or a company description. Everyone always throws out a large net trying to catch the largest number of fish. I always look at the three star ratings before I check out the five star ratings and look for consistent comments: These rating about these pants complain about the zipper and snap buttons. For those problems I recommend something like WD40 to lubricate the problem, then you should be good for awhile. A belt takes care of the rest, for me. Good Luck

Just got it today. Very good
The media could not be loaded. I’m excited an our these pants for fishing. I received the package today and so far, I want another one. I’m impressed with the quality and design. Feels very comfortable on my body and I just hope it keeps the rain out of my undies and keep me warm on those rainy days. I’m a 5’5” guy weighing 140lbs. I need a belt and it’s about 2” too long for my likings but for the price I bought for it, I want another one in a different color. Seller, I want to buy another one at the price I bought it for. Pls contact me

Great Quality, Warm but Size Up
My husband is 225 lbs 6'1" and typically wears a size 38x32 pants. We ordered a size XL in the grey and it was pretty snug in the waist. When we went to Iceland 5 years ago, we ordered two of these insulated hiking pants in a size L. My husband loved them. They have stretch and a comfortable fit. Since then he has grown a little so I ordered a XL in the grey. We were shocked to find that they XL waist circumference was the exact same as the L size from 5 years ago! I then ordered a size XXL and it fits just right with room in the waist to tuck shirts. We were going on a trip to Alaska and there were other couples going with us. One of the other guys decided to take the size XL that was too snug for my husband because he was very impressed with the quality and the fit. He wears a 36x32 pant. My husband highly recommends these hiking pants because of their warmth, rain resistant fabric, and the comfortable stretch. I should also mention the inseam is 32 1/2" on the XXL.
