Exactly as described
Yes, I simply wanted a sword to hang on the wall. Nothing more, nothing less. And this thing is awesome! Heavy, sturdy and long, just like a claymore should be. The hilt leather could've been assembled a little better, because the leather sticks out slightly from the end cap and hilt ring. But other than that, I'm extremely satisfied for the price I paid!

Its a cool decorative sword
I have to say that it is better than most of the reviews I have read. Its sturdy enough to hang and looks nice. I haven't done any rough swinging with it, but you can handle it with slow thrusts and swings. This isn't a serious sword for combat. The cons are the tip was slightly bent more than likely in shipping. It appears the center of the blade though has uneven pounding marks from its construction though. That make it slightly unappealing.

This will be a back-mounted two handed sword unless you're 6'5"+. Great quality and value, though.

Better than Expected
Fits in well among 'Excalibur', Loxley and Templar Swords...Scabbard/Sheath is a nice perk but a Mounting board (too?) would have made it perfect
