A very good quality itemI used to trim mainly Mesquites and few otherEven when I was rusted for not being using a chainsaw in so longIt was a quick learning curve due to the simplicity and soon got a good handle of the saw...which once running it keeps going and going with a lot of power to goI was a little skeptic at the begging but once cutting wood got started those doubts were left behindI hope to last longBut my guess is worth the investmentFor sure recommend it

Chainsaw was shipped with a used spark plug. Seller did give me credit for a new plug. Chainsaw looks like it Brand new out of the box.

Worth the savings in price to go with renewed. I noticed no difference from new except the packaging is not from Husquvarna and the saw did not include a blade scabbard. If that is important, buy new for$100+ more. I noticed some people commenting in the reviews that the saw is hard to start. I have had no problems either from a cold or hot start. The procedure is a little different for the hot start but if it is followed there should be no problem. My comment is the saw is provided with the cheaper Husquvarna chain but can be upgraded to the Xcut later. Mine was shipped with owners manual under the saw which leaked oil onto the manual. But a new one can be downloaded from the Husquvarna website.Just as a side note, the spark plug was in very tight when I got the saw and I broke the supplied wrench when removing it. Wasn’t a big deal as I have other saws with compatible wrenches. The wrench looked to be only spot welded. I welded it back together, won’t break again!I would buy this again.

Purchased renewed saw which according to the listing has a 90 day warranty. After using 1 hr the saw froze. Figured out it was probably the chain brake and it would not release. Tried to remove the cover but it was also jammed. Concerned about breaking the cover checked into warranty service. Company said it was only a 30 day warranty but I was within that window. They said to contact local authorized area Hasqavrna dealers for repair. Problem none of the local shops, within 50 miles, will do warranty service for stuff stuff bought on line. Was finally able to fix it myself after a couple of hours and YouTube guidance but their warranty is worthless. Saw may perform well but just forget about their advertised warranty.

It leaks oil

I returned the item without any hassle. Main reason is because I wanted to replace the clutch cover and the closest Husqvarna dealer was not convenient.For the 28 days I had it, I was impressed. Starts very easy if you follow the directions. I only made a few cuts with the stock 18 inch bar, it will bog under load so let the chain do the work and keep it sharp. I purchased an Oregon SpeedCut 16” bar and chain combo because it made sense.Will buy with confidence from FixMyToys in the future, very polite and professional. Will buy a Husqvarna again, if the price is right.-Janet and Christopher

I like this saw it was refurbished so it did have some dings and dents in it but overall it cuts well starts ok and is extremely lightweight.
