PARACORD PLANET 10 20 25 50 100 Foot Hanks and 250 1000 Foot Spools of Parachute 550 Cord Type III 7 Strand Paracord

I build whips, primarily out of paracord. I've ordered from Paracord Planet in the past and been satisfied. However, this most recent order, and several of my most recent past orders, have been very disappointing as I have been severely shorted in the lengths.Now, if they advertise 100 feet of cord and it's off by a few inches, I'm not going to complain. I've never had them go over -- it's ALWAYS under the advertised length. Like I said, though, a few inches isn't generally going to matter. But this last hank of cord was short by over 2 feet. When you require specific lengths of cord for the overlay of a whip, this is significant. And the last several batches I purchased were also off by at least a foot or more.Don't advertise 100 feet of cord if you're not even going to try to come close.

After discovering that another order from Paracord Planet was 2 feet short I measured out this order. It is also 2 feet short of the 100 feet that I ordered. It makes me a little more than irritated that the quality control is so poor that this happens, and makes me wonder if all their orders are short? I know I'll need other random colors for other projects, and sadly Paracord Planet seems to have the best color selection. However if this is how they treat every order I'll certainly be shopping elsewhere.

This is my second attempt at getting paracord. The first paracord that I got was a disaster. The end of the spool came off and was a huge tangled mess. The replacement spool that I got was not 1 piece. On the spool was as aprox 300' piece and a 700' piece. The project that I was working on needed one piece that was 1000' long. I would have returned the replacement spool if I had not needed it right then. I had to make due. I am very disappointed. Buyer Beware.

I semi-regularly buy spools of paracord from Paracord Planet. Never had a problem and have always been pretty happy doing business with them. I go through a lot of neon green. I decided to get a 1000' spool this time. It showed up 10 minutes ago and is not neon green. I'd call the color: safety vest yellow. It's something that I'll use but not nearly at the same speed I use neon green. Since I'll use the color somewhat, it's too much of a hassle to send back. But rest assured I will be finding a different source until they get their stuff in order.If I hear back from them with anything, I will update my rating accordingly.

Shorter than the 10ft I ordered. I didn't want to order too much as I only got the light tan version to be closer to skin tone so that it isn't so obvious using it as a concealed neck lanyard so I figured I didn't need a huge bundle. It was to be a cut to length for one use never to be needed again. But with this being shorter than I ordered I don't really have enough to try a couple of different lengths without running out. I figured 10 ft would be well more than enough but since I didn't even get 10 feet I don't have that option now. I don't see anything special about it over a local store-bought bundle though other than the color options. Having said that, cutting this down to try to make a neck lanyard out of it there's very little room for error with a 10ft bundle that's actually shorter than the 10 feet I ordered only giving me one or two chances to get my length right before I need a new bundle. I wanted to make a neck lanyard out of it that's long enough that it can be lengthened or shortened with standard slipping lanyard knots where it will be regular necklace length or where I can pull it down to my side for concealed knife carry. Other than the myriad of color options to choose from here that I can't get locally in a regular department store the amount I paid here for so little footage isn't really worth it. If you need an odd color this is the place to go which is why I ordered here instead of getting it locally for the light tan color. Otherwise I would suggest picking up some locally near you where you'll get much more footage for the same price or less. I honestly wish I had done that now even though I may not have gotten the color I wanted because for half as much I could have gotten five times as much footage locally in the exact same quality and strength as this.

This paracord worked well for my needs. It was a present for my son who is very much into Bear Grylls type of activities. It has lasted a good while, and is strong for making pup tents, hanging tarps, tying up younger siblings and making trip wire for your Dad who gets up every morning to go to work so that he can buy products like this for his young son. Thanks son for tripping me at 4 am, and thanks ParacordPlanet for making a product good enough to trip people. Also this is just good to have around the house, never know when you'll need something stronger than twine but as thick as rope.

Bought a 1000 foot spool back in 2015, just getting to it now. Never had a problem until now. Every couple of hundred feet I encounter a tape section where someone decided to just tape two different lengths of cord together. At first I was annoyed but got over it.....I am now on my fifth taped section. I guess I should ask for 1000 feet of continious 550 cord instead of poorly taped sections.

I need some pretty long shoelaces for how I lace my boots (100", what???) so buying paracord in cool colours and then using some heat shrink tubing from the hardware store for the aglets makes it super easy to have some cool laces.

We're new to paracord so can't speak too much about quality. Seems very good. The Neon Yellow is very bright, and this is exactly what we wanted. Done snake knot zipper pulls and keychains.

Ordered 50' of this for my wife to go with her new fishing magnet and she absolutely LOVED it because it combines her three favourite colours

Of all the millions of feet of paracord in the world these 100 feet are the best there is. Securely lash items, handy, durable and improves your performance on tinder. Two thumbs up!

Loved working with this cord. Very strong and nice color. Made this gun sling and have also made several survival bracelets as well. I already have some more ordered
