Our charity's trustees chose this version for distribution in Chile to 6 to 8 year olds after reviewing a number of Bibles for children. This was our favourite children's Bible for several reasons: (1) it includes all the major Bible stories (2) a faithful retelling of the Bible text in a way which is very suitable and interesting for children (3) 366 stories, one for each day of the year (4) each story is followed by two or three questions to involve the children and to help them to grasp the lesson (5) each one has a prayer, often including a practical application (e.g. after Solomon's prayer for wisdom is answered, the prayer is, "Lord, I thank you because you are so wise. Help me to be wise as well.") (6) every story is accompanied by a beautiful illustration which is reasonably realistic without looking old-fashioned.Its one fault is that it has only Bible stories, so any teaching has to be drawn out of stories like Daniel in the lions' den and Jesus's parable of the two sons. Prophetic teaching, the Psalms, the Sermon on the Mount, the New Testament letters, and God's promised new Earth are excluded. For this reason some parents and teachers might prefer "La Biblia en un año para niños" by Rhona Davies, but that is more suitable for older children and it provides no questions or prayers.Reading a page of this book each evening to young children and going through the questions and prayers will provide the best possible foundation for their lives by helping them to know and trust the Lord. Older children who have learned to read will treasure such a beautiful book. We have photos of children in Chile who have received these Bibles looking absolutely delighted!

La Biblia en cuadros para ninos es realmente un libro incomparable en contenido y ensenhaza de nuestra fe. Mi hijo de 5 anhos cada noche me pide q le lea mas y mas, esta superinteresado en aprender y conocer y creo q lo que lo hace tan interesante para los ninhos es la manera en que esta presentado cada tema. El tema se desarrolla con parrafos pequenhos y claros para q los ninhos lo entiendan con facilidad, al lado se puede ver un dibujo grande, y al finalizar hay preguntas sencillas sobre lo leido y se termina con una oracion pequena. Lo cual mantiene al ninho muy interesado. LO RECOMIENDO SIN DUDA ALGUNA.

EN VERDAD RECOMIENDO ESTA BIBLIA AMPLIAMENTE PARA LOS NINOS YA QUE LA MANERA EN LA QUE EL AUTOR NARRA CADA PASAJE LO HACE DE FORMA MUY SENCILLA Y PRACTICA PARA LOS NINOS, A MIS HIJOS LES ENCANTO Y LAS PREGUNTAS QUE MANEJA AL FINAL DE CADA PASAJE BIBLICO HACEN QUE INTERACTUEMOS MAS CON LOS NINOS, Y LOS PEQUENINES SE INTERESEN MAS POR LA HISTORIETA Y REAFIRMEN LO APRENDIDO; APARTE ME ENCANTA LA PEQUENA ORACION QUE SE HACE AL FINAL, YA QUE ES UNA MANERA MUY BONITA DE TERMINAR Y ENSENAR A LOS NINOS A ORAR. A SU VEZ EL MATERIAL ES DE MUY BUENA CALIDAD ASI QUE NO DUDO EN RECOMENDARLO EN SU TOTALIDAD.

Compré este libro para mi hijo de 5 años para empezar a enseñarle poco a poco la historia de nuestra religión católica.Llevamos apenas algunas páginas leidas pero mi hijo se entretiene bastante y me pide que le lea más cada vez.Las historias son breves y concisas y en un lenguaje que hace que los niños participen de la lectura, hacen preguntas y plantean sitauciones familiares para los niños. Además al final de cada historia trae una reflexión y eso me gustó mucho.Creo que es un excelente libro para introducir a los niños a la historia de el catolicismo y sirve también de repaso para los papás.

The only negative part is it is a little banged from the corners as if it was used or mistreated by carrier, Also, it took a few more days than expected but that is fine.Is an excellent book.

I'm very glad I read the reviews for this bible before buying it. My 5 year old had an old bible with only a few stories and although he loved it, I was extremely tired of reading the same ones every week. This one comes with very decent graphics and the stories are very good as well. Very appropriate language for his age. The question done at the end are also very good.Definitely recommended to any one looking for a book with bible stories for their kid(s).

My 4 year old princess just loves this bible..she ask me to read it every night..we are Christians and I want to teach my children to love God just the way I do..this bible is cute, great doctrine and perfect vocabulary for kids with beautiful pictures too =] ...we are also Cubans and I want my kids to learn spanish and be proud of it so overall it was an excellent buy!! no regrets =] God bless you all![...]
