Bought SM for 7 year old. Socks are Mid calf length on him and are a breathable material. The quality at the foot is great as well. The colors are vibrant!

Great quality, good looking football socks
Our boys loved these socks for their entire season and would not wear any of the other choices. They held up like new after being washed and dried weekly for the months they played, both practices and games. The looked great on field in uniform, and fit comfortably without sliding down or feeling too tight. We purchased two different sizes and they were true to size.

Just right
My sons HS colors are hunter green, black and grey, so seeing these socks I thought they would look great with his track uniform. I read a few reviews and they were hit and miss, but my gut said go for it, so I did! These socks are WONDERFUL! The exact color of green and the camo part is so cool! They fit my son (Shoe size 11) just right. Some socks seem either too big in the heel, or the seam on the toe doesn't seem to sit right, but these are AWESOME!!! They are going to be his lucky socks this track season. I can feel it!

RED!!! Washed & Dried Staying True to Color and Size!
I will be honest, when I opened the package the socks looked teeny tiny (purchased a size small crew sock) . I thought my child who wears a size 5 baseball cleat would never be able to wear them and I was thinking of people we could gift them to. I was shocked when he walked out ready for a game and the socks not only looked awesome but fit beautifully! The quality is what I expect with any athletic sock and they washed/dried very nicely keeping true to color and size. The grey/black/red digital camouflage up the back of the sock is a fun look that all the boys and the coach commented on. I will not hesitate in the coming years to purchase TCK Crew Socks as my child grows and the team colors change.

Size was WAY off
I ordered the XL as the size chart said 9-12. These socks were more like 14-15.
