I bought this book for my boyfriend after first seeing it at a house party we attended. These photos are incredible, spiritual and in wonderful detail. The photographer is amazing. After taking vacationing on Safari in South Africa, this book had such meaning and we connected with it immediately. The style and overall detail in this photo book is truly amazing. I look at it over and over again. The animals and people in these photos are priceless. I recommend to everyone.

West to this exhibit in Santa Monica years ago and it has stuck with me. His photos are ethereal and provide an inspirational view of nature and animals

Yes this is not a large book, but it is lovely. It is not your standard run of the mill coffee table book and I think that's what makes it special. The hand made pages and binding are unique and complement the photos. Perfect for the art connoisseur in your life.

I thought this would be a big coffee table book. It's the size of a small calendar. Of course the pictures are wonderful, but a lot is lost in the small size. No way this book is worth what is charged for it. Better off to choose your favorite shot and order a poster.

a larger format would have been more appropriate to appreciate the beauty of Ashes and Snow

Simply astonishing photos-deeply spiritual and visually stunning and perfectly crafted. Packaging unique and appropriate to photos. I saw the original exhibition and the books do it justice

The book looks nice, but the quality of photos are very very low.

E' il catalogo della tappa californiana (2005) della celebre mostra fotografica "Ashes and snow", una raccolta enorme di fotografie magnifiche, una visione poetica, come sospesa, dell'armonia tra uomini, animali e ambiente naturale.Pur non essendo di grandi dimensioni (il libro misura più o meno 25x18cm), la suggestione delle immagini è intatta. La carta a mano italiana delle pagine, la copertina di carta nepalese, la chiusura "a corda", lo rendono un libro prezioso, ben al di là di un semplice catalogo di mostre.Il prezzo è elevato, ma i veri estimatori del fotografo canadese non ne rimarranno delusi

Un imperdibile capolavoro, stampato su carta pregiata. Da avere e da regalare. Il rapporto tra uomo e natura raccontato con grande poesia.

Mi ha fatto rivivere le emozioni della mostra vista a Venezia. Copertina e carta utilizzata aggiungono un tocco di fascino in più.

Come mi aspettavo: fantastico libro di fantastiche immagini. Ci ci ci ci ci ci ci ci ci ci ci ciao

J'adore ce que fait ce photographe qui a publié très peu de livres de ses photos. J'ai plusieurs de ses posters qui sont magnifiques et le livre commandé est un bel objet déjà en soi.
