So easy to fit that a five-year old could do it...
My 5 year old son helped me fit these boards, very easy install. A deeper socket would have been easier, but using a standard socket with a spanner to finish the tightening worked well. I didn't remove any paint from the bolts, but I had just planned to use a Dremel and wire brush attachment if it had been required. The package came with a second set of brackets included too - I think that they must have been upgraded since the originals were packed - that appear to extend further from the cab body. I was glad of the earlier reviews advising to get the wider steps though, these are a great width for easy access. Any narrower may have been a little tricky to use without being a shin-skin remover. All in all - speedy delivery, great product, easy install, looks great.

Fair product
Simple installation about an hour. I rate 4 star for now due to them being brand new and I want to see how they hold up over time. The sturdiness rating I gave a two star. I’m 205lbs and these feel very frail. However, for the price they look really sharp. The hardware that comes with these is trash china grade crap. Value for the money I give 3 star as you get what you pay for. Definitely not the nicest but also not high priced either. I would consider the price for the 5” stainless steel set I got for $200 a fair price for this product. If you weigh over 250lbs I would not recommend.

Sharp look, great price, but functionality needs work.
Put these on my 2019 Ram 1500. They took a few trips in and out of the truck to get used to but I’m good with them now. My initial complaints were half the 6” wide board is tucked under the truck so you don’t have as much of a step as you’d think. And they feel like they’re mounted a little higher and closer to the truck than my old truck’s running boards so stepping out of the truck you need to pay attention to where they’re at until you get used to them. They’re priced right for sure and the look nice on the truck so that’s why I gave them a shot but someday when I’m feeling like I’ve got some money to burn I’ll probably go for something a little higher end.

Best for your money
This is my second pair of IBoards. The only reason I got a new pair was Ram changed the body style on the 2019. My first pair of IBoards I moved over to my other two trucks. The reason I gave 4 stars is that they sit further under the body. I purchased the largest width board and you truly only have about 3 inches to put your foot on. You need to extend the mounting brackets so they sit out a little further.

They look great. Love them.
They aren’t fully wheel to wheel length, as you can see in the photos, but they still look great and are long enough. Some of the instructions were unclear and incorrect, making the first side take way longer than the second side once we realized how you really should do it properly. For example, the bolt pattern wasn’t exactly right on the pictures, and it stated not to tighten certain bolts until the end but then we couldn’t access them at the end and had to take it all apart to get back to the bolts that needed to be tightened and we’re said not to tighten until the end. Other than that, they were fairly easy to install and turned out looking great and are really solid and sturdy most of the way through. The back closest to the bed isn’t as stable, it’s a little wiggly since there isn’t a support bracket way back there, but it doesn’t get stepped on all the time back there and I’m not worried about it.

Junk
Only buy if you want bare-bones running boards and you weigh under 100 pounds.Yes, very easy to install. Too easy. Which is probably why they aren't very sturdy.I installed on my 2019 Ram 1500 (new body style).Brackets only went on 2 of the 3 bolts under the truck. (I think this configuration allows them to sell the same kit for multiple vehicles.Once installed there was a lot of flex when standing on the running boards. I'm 220 lbs so I had my wife try (the reason I'm even installing these) and they flex for her as well at 130 lbs.The real disappointment came after I finished installing the second one and noticed a bunch of chrome overspray on the treads. Ugh! I would return if I could but the wife threw away the boxes on recycle day....My advice; Spend a little more and get something of quality.

Tinny and noisy
Ordered for my 2020 Ram 1500 and the installation was a breeze. No drilling... just bolt the brackets on the existing studs and you're done. However, once I drove on our mile of gravel, I had second thoughts. Any rock that kicked up and hit the boards sounded real tinny and loud. I also found that just shutting my door caused the boards to "ring". I pulled them off and filled the underside with Great Foam. Would have been better to have used a true vibration damping material (which I didn't have) but I did have a few cans of Great Foam sitting around. It'll probably take a beating from rocks, etc. but it seemed to help with the tinniness and noise. Can't really recommend these boards.

Perfect!
These fit my new 2019 Ram 1500 4x4 Laramie, perfectly! We put a 3.5" lift and 35" tires on the truck so I had to have something to help me get in and out since I'm only 5'2". They work great and look great. Took my husband less than an hour to install them. I purchased the 6", I think anything less would not be wide enough to be useful for myself and our young boys.
