Just wanted to state this crystal clear! I duel boot Windows and Mac OS while in windows mode under running software or a video game from 2001 on my machine the power consumption can't charge fast enough and after about an hour dies.Mac side this is a perfect cord for just web browsing for me, looks great works perfectly and no more money thrown at Apple for buying more faulty chargers of lower quality. Buy from this seller but beware newegg I had to return and report a seller there for trying to sell me this charger but mailing out another different looking version .I'd buy from this seller again just wish it worked under stress to use this cable doing a game on my windows OS

Works, but smells terribly of floral perfume. When it arrived, I could smell it through the packaging, and through the amazon box. Tried to use the cord next to my bed but had to take it out to my living room because it smelled so bad.Weird. Hoping it fades.

Unlike a lot of 3rd party chargers, this one feels just as well built as the Apple equivalent. And thanks to its slender profile, it packs easily for traveling. I’ve been using mine for over a month now and it works great. No overheating and connects reliably.One complaint is the cord. 6’ isn’t terrible for traveling, plugging in at hotel or airport for instance. But at home I definitely needed an extension cord. And because it has three prongs, I had to get a special extension cord to handle it.

This is NOT an Apple rip off charger. This is a totally different re-designed charger. You could argue it is better than Apples OEM charger design. My point is this; I have ordered many different aftermarket chargers after my original Apple charger failed (3yrs of use) and all others also failed. My last one failed almost within a day of use. I fully expected this unit to charge my Mac, and then, kind of sort of charge it.... and then not charge at all. after a month, never had an issue. Feels like it runs cooler than the OEM, but I can't back that up with temps or geo/thermal picts. It works, and for the price, I think I will buy another one just to have a back up charger in another room in the house.

As stated in the headline,it did not work on my mid 2012 MacBook Pro 15 inch Retina, but it did work on a 2015 or 2016 MacBook Air 11 inch. I was hoping it would work and that it was only one in the batch that did not work, but I was sent another unit, but the same thing happened so I ended up returning them. They might work on newer Macs, but I think the unsupported Macs have met their end especially if there are no chargers that can be found for them.

I've been through several chargers of this style between my son's and my laptops. A lot of them stunk. The first one I bought from this seller still functioned other than the short at the plug-in point that evolved by bending it funny over the years. This new one is as great as my first one and I will reinforce it at that point so it doesn't happen again.

very much worth it for the money. it's bulky compared to the original charger its a great size. but it's good i love it no complaine been using it for a few months and it works like a champ

The charger is great for the money spent...the original one was like 4 times the price of this one. Although this charger was drawing 10w lesser than the oem. I have no complains provided the size, price and the build quality. The only complaint is the cable is attached to the charger instead of a usb c port( this would have been a killer feature so we can extend the use of this great charger to other use cases.
