Perfect for the price. Distance and Slope
This Kotso G1s (with Slope, not Speed function) is great for me as all I need is to scan and find distances I need on areas of the fairway and the pin. With only 2 modes (M1) distance and pin detection, (M2) same with Slope.This is great in it's simplicity. although if the reading seems off, just press the power button a few times to get what will seem more correct. let it turn off after 8 seconds as sometimes you may get the wrong reading due to reflection of the target (this will be the same issue no matter what laser rangefinder you use). One of the plus for me is the use of AAA vs CR2, I do not want have to buy a CR2 when I always can get 2x AAA most anywhere.I am not knocking the other range finders on the market but for me all I really need is the distance to certain parts like the edge of the green or bunkers and other objects along the way.Being accurate to +/- i yard is better than guessing the distance for most every player, lets be honest, if we can all dial in our shots with in that range we would all be in the PGA...LOLThis is simple and probably most useful first at the practice range to know each clubs carry distance and then for play on the course to use the distance information to chose your club. Just remeber that it will not compinsate for a bad swing or wind Etc.Hit-em- Strait!, Happy golfing

Great product
This was the least expensive range finder I could find and so was concerned the product didn't have the quality that the more expensive range finders did. I've used it 10 days with no issues. I've even slammed accidentally against the ground when my push cart was folding and it was fine and still accurate. I really like the slope adjustment and the ocular focus they are both amazing and easy to use. Very happy with this product.

Poor distance measurement
Nice lightweight unit but with poor distance accuracy. Used one round with two others with different brand GPS' and less than half the time was the yardage close to the actual distance.

Excellent Value
Simple and effective. Great to accurately know the yardage to the flag vice guessing. Highly recommended!

Affordable, and worth it.
It functions easily, but it also comes with instructions if you can't figure it out. Having tested it alongside other, more expensive brands, I see no difference in the accuracy or quality.
