Size:M6-6.5/ W8-8.5 Before you Purchase: There are three Types of Arches Orthotics, to get the best results please determine your foot type to ensure you order correctly. Our Type 1 and Type 3 are specialized medical orthotics for corrective purposes. If you are unsure of your foot type please watch this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=18&v=Wj6D1dZmuJs. Arches Orthotics are for both men and women. Our sizes correlate with the size you typically buy when you shop for shoes in the U.S. and they will fit correctly. When you receive the product, we recommend that you remove the insole that comes with your shoe (if applicable) and replace it with the Arches Orthotic for optimal correction and space. With our specialized materials, the orthotic can be trimmed at the toe to fit your shoe if needed. The Arches line of Orthotics by FootScientific provides balance of correction, comfort, and performance for both the athlete and the lay user. Three distinct designs balance and stabilize each of the three major foot types. The materials surpass comfort of most custom footbeds while retaining corrective features. The primary material, a cork amalgam, holds its comfortable shape over time with extra cushion for the heel and ball of the foot. Type 3: If you are confident, preferably with the confirmation of a foot specialist, that you are a Supinator or have particularly “high arches,” or have been diagnosed with a “cavovarus" foot deformity, our Type 3 will be corrective and helpful for performance and pain alleviation. The Type 3 Orthotic will reduce metatarsalgia pain, pain on the outside of the ankle, pain on the lateral part of the foot, pain in the heel, such as plantar fasciitis, and problems with the heel and achilles. The patented structure of the Arches Orthotics Type 3 allows the over-flexed big toe to drop into a comfortable position while tilting the heel out of its abnormal position, neutralizing the heel.

Only one like this I can find
It's really the only full size insole for supination I can find on Amazon. Pedag makes one for women that looks like it fits in a pair of high heels (has leather on the top), but doesn't fit well in a men's shoe.I am ok with it enough to give it 3 stars since it is a one of a kind but for me the tilt needs to be more. Maybe the number on the insole means how much it tilts inward. So may be a 5 would work better for me? It seems as I put more wear on these the tilt gets less as well as the cork gets compressed. Not sure if they make one like this or not and it's just not on Amazon? Also, these are not very well padded (metatarsal region especially) so they need to make some with more padding. There is no foam, it is just a thin piece of cork so it's really not padded at all. If you have Morton's Neuroma or Metatarsalgia like I do it can get painful.

Works
I have under pronated all my life. Tried orthotics a couple of times. I saw these and followed the directions and ordered the type 3. This took care of my ankle pain after decades of suffering. I don't know if you'll be as happy as me, but if you want to give it a try please follow the instructions so you get the right type.

Comfortable, amazing AND improved my golf game??
53 years old with wide feet. I have always assumed my foot problems and shoe problems were caused by that. I walked out of the outside of my shoes. I recently attended a golf school and was able able to see my feet in a mirror and it was an eye opener. My feet were just rolled out to the outside and much of my shoe was hanging out of the side it seemed. I started researching and learned I suffered from supination in both feet. I ordered these and it's been wonderful. I was always hurting if I had to be standing for an extended period. I love to golf and have had some trouble balancing on one foot and off balance in general and I am convinced that I was making lots of compensations in my swing. I wore these on the course for the first time yesterday. Wow, felt great and more balanced than I have ever been! I had a more balanced stance and I followed through to my lead foot where before I could not or it would roll or I leaned back to tsk weight of of it. No more! Thank you from the bottom of my feet! I will be ordering more.

The first insert I've found that stabilizes the outboard side of my foot
This is the first insert I've found that correctly supports the outside edge of my foot. Any casual shoes I buy, my foot feels like it is tipping sharply, with the inside getting way too much lift and the outside too little, tilting my foot to the point it feels like I'm sliding off the insole to the outboard side. Just like the illustration depicts. It has a little too much arch, causing me some irritation when I walk, I'm waiting to see whether my foot adjusts or if I need to do something to flatten the arch a bit.

Runs small!
The size of these is too small. It states up to 6.5, and all my shoes are 6.5. The insert is about a 1/2 inch too short. I’ll be purchasing the next size up. I wear size 6.5 running shoes and I could feel the end of the support under my toes. When I compared them to the insert I pulled out of my shoe, there was a noticeable size difference. Order a size up if you’re not sure.Other than the size, these have helped tremendously. I am a runner and play tennis. I started getting ankle pain and it felt like a sprained ankle, but I never actually did anything to injure myself like a fall or twisting it. This was at the beginning of the COVID pandemic around March 2020. I put off going to the doctor, and thought if I just rested and iced that it would be okay. 10 weeks later and I was still hobbling around, couldn't walk down/up stairs, etc. I thought I could have injured my Achilles somehow. I finally went to see my doctor, who recommended an Orthopedic doctor. That doc recommended an MRI and another specialist to see after I got my results. Turns out there was nothing wrong with my ankle. It was my calf muscle! I have high arches and supination (underpronation). My heel rolls towards the outside of my foot, I tend to walk and run on my toes, and my calf (over time) shortened. This caused stress and my calf muscle to have huge knots, which caused pulling on my ankle and the pain I was having. I started doing my stretches recommended by the doc, rolling with a foam roller, and muscle roller. The pain FINALLY went away and I could start exercising again. My doc also recommended these insoles to help correct my foot when I'm running, playing tennis or just walking around. I haven't had any issues since, and along with all the other physical stretching, these insoles are a lifesaver.

Great Inserts!
This is my second pair of these. I have had foot problems my whole life as my toes don’t touch the ground, I have very high arches and oversupinate. My ligaments in my ankles are torn and can’t be fixed because my feet will just cause me to sprain my ankles again. My doctor recommended I use these inserts and they have helped immensely. I highly recommend!

As expected
After I ordered I found almost identical supports for a fraction of the price in a department store

About the same results as others.
I'm on my feet standing and walking on concrete floors for 10, 12, and sometimes 14 hours a day at work, which makes my feet hurt something awful. I do tend to roll my foot outward when I walk and have tried numerous insert and shoe combinations to correct this, while hoping to alleviate some pain at the same time.Had these inserts delivered to me on August 9th and I waited to use them when my new shoes came in. First time of walking on these was the 12th of August and now it's the 29th, 17 days later. My new Nike's are already showing signs of premature wear on the outside heal and ball of both feet.Really the only thing these $62 inserts did for me was make my shoes uncomfortable to wear.

Too hard for most supinators
These orthotics are well-made and exactly as described, with one important exception. They are neither soft nor cushioned. They are very hard. This could present extreme difficulties for those who require a flexible midsole like most people who under-pronate or supinate. In addition, some people may have to add a well-cushioned insole of the memory form variety to be able to use these insoles, which might prove difficult as these insoles are very thick already. Otherwise though, they are a very good product, as said.

Good quality.
Good quality item. Didn’t work for me as my arches are too high. So, for me, unfortunately it wasn’t a good fit.
