Look, there are better hitch mounted tray racks out there, but they cost 2-3 times more than this one and there isn't a lot you get for that extra money. This one doesn't come with a repair stand, no big deal, work on your bike at home. No fancy anodized colors, who cares? Paint it if you like. No locks, no problem, get a $15 cable lock and lock your bike to the hitch. It's way better then the expensive lock kits they offer on other racks and way more secure. This rack is easy to assemble, light weight, easy to put on or off the vehicle, and rock solid once you tighten it up properly. There will be a small amount of wobble but that's true of all tray racks. I have a 2-bike version from when I drove a larger vehicle but I didn't like how big it looked when folded up on this car. I bought the 1-bike model for this car because (1) I usually don't travel with more than 1 bike and (2) I like that it doesn't stick up past my trunk lid. I also prefer the simple, minimalist, hitch assembly and toe lever on this one to the bulkier assemblies you'll see on other racks. Others have given this rack bad reviews because it showed up looking like it was delivered by Ace Ventura but that doesn't make it a bad product. Mine showed up with the box looking a little beat up but everything inside the box was fine. If you hate money, by all means, spend more and get one of the high dollar racks. If you want something that works great and leaves money in your pocket for bike parts and beer, get this one.

I can’t rave enough about this bike rack. I purchased this bike rack for a move across the country and WOW. I am a single woman and was able to assemble it easily with the tools provided. It was light and easy to carry to my car and take on/off. I love the option to buy an extension for a second bike. It is a small enough rack that I can even still see out my rear view back up camera in my car. It moves down easily to open the trunk (even with a bike on) and then flips up and almost unnoticeable without a bike. It adds hardly any length to my car for parking spots. High quality, very durable, easy assembly and use.

There's a bit of building required with this, however it's nothing like building an IKEA bookshelf.The rack is very good quality. Simple, yet effective. Do yourself a favor and buy a lock kit while you're at it.Update: my daughter drove my car with the empty rack down. The lock extended and dragged on the ground and is now totally destroyed. Word of warning: don’t drive around with an empty rack that isn’t folded up.

After trying to decide between this and another bike rack I landed on this one. Overall its a great product, easy to assemble yet very sturdy when put together. The way it is designed makes it easy to cater to the bike. Each of the attachments where the wheels rest can be tilted in order to best fit the bike. My only issue is that the hole for the hitch pin is small when you have a 2 inch hitch. I have a combination hitch pin that i have used for years but I am unable to use it due to the diameter of the hole in the 2 inch adapter. The one plus side on it is that the hitch pin that is provided with the rack is very sturdy after it is installed and tightened.

Great bike rack. Easy to assemble. Instructions are easy to read and follow. Comes with EVERYTHING you need, including wrenches. Very sturdy. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this rack and I have been very pleased that I bought this one. Very good quality!

the 3-G and the Specialized cruiser don't have bars. This rack keeps them anchored well and safe. Great rack. I even ordered the two bike rack from a Kuat dealer : I could not get it from Amazon; hopefully they will in the future.

Like that it is for one bike. My Cruzbike q45 fits. Easy and light to remove and put back in place.

This was super easy to install and works great getting my mountain bike back and forth from the trails.If you don't need to haul a second bike, this is definitely the way to go!
