I have bought these tamarind seeds a few times. I use them for health reasons, it's good for my joints (no stiffness anymore!) and also makes my bones and hair strong. I'm 60 years old now, so I need to take care of these things. I deshell the outer roasted skin by pounding the seeds a bit with a bottle, and then I put a handful of the seeds into my water bottle. I love the taste of it, a bit of a nutty flavour. I keep refilling the water with the same seeds until the nutty flavour goes away, then it's time to change the seeds. A really good product that's made a huge difference to my life, especially my mobility. I can't live without it.My mother said she used to crunch away at tamarind seeds as a youngster, I've heard that's how a lot of people consume them. She must have had really good strong teeth then because my teeth are definitely not strong enough to do that now...but I have also read that these seeds will strengthen your teeth and gums too, even rebuild your teeth, so here's hoping over time my teeth will get strong enough! The only improvement I could think is for them to be organic.
