Better than homemade shooting houses
Our hunting club now has 3 of these and we buy a new one each year. I say they are better than the permanent shooting houses made of treated wood and a roof, because you can remove the blind from the support rails while leaving the tower and blind rails in place. Make sure to store the blind in a area free of mice and rats... they love the material! This prevents insects and other critters from building nest inside them which requires you to have to clean them out before the season. If bought in conjunction with the tower, these things are elevated 10' so make sure you attach the anchor and anchor cable as well as the stakes in the foot pedals... it catches a lot of wind! And they are really hot if in the sunlight in early season! The entrance door/window could use some redesign as you have to reach inside (in the dark) and unsnap the door from the rails to get inside. Once inside, you have to reattach the snaps (plastic) to the rails, then adjust the window to the height and width of your choosing. I've read review about the plastic snaps not being snug after a couple of seasons. We have not had that issue but we do remove the blinds and store them after the season. The windows take some getting use to if you are used to just opening a window in shooting house or permanent blind and having a shooting rest. Even though 3 of the 4 windows have somewhat of a shooting rail system that can be adjusted for you required height, I'd recommend a shooting stick be placed in each of these blinds instead. You adjust height and width of the windows by sliding the snaps up/down and right/left on the rail system. I have used the blind for both gun and archery which is an advantage over the permanent blinds and shooting houses unless they have archery windows built in. Setting these up can be done with one EXPERIENCED person but it is recommend 2-4 people be there when you stand these up. I have a remote winch on my UTV and can walk them up using the winch by myself, but It is not recommended. If you bend the support legs, you are done until you get a replacement leg! Overall very good blind and better if you buy the tower to go with it. Very hot if the temps are above 60 degrees and in direct sunlight!

Great hunting blind!!
Very pleased with this purchase. Very sturdy and spacious. Comfortable to move around in and went together easily (but timely since it has a lot of parts to it.) I bought it for my husband and son who are avid hunters and they are very pleased with it. I also purchased the tower with it which is an awesome combination together.

Overall Useful but needs a Better Window Design
I have two (2) Rivers Edge Landmark 450 blinds mounted on ten (10) ft tower platforms.I basically like the setup, with the exception of the terrible blind windows. I have them setup horizontally for best view, but find they are constantly falling down. As this problem is attributable to the product design (loose flat straps with "D" rings, around a metal frame) I'm investigating what corrective actions or retro-fit might work to make this blind work for me. I've set an inquiry out to the manufacturer, and will update this post when I hear from them.
