Musk Gazelle Perfume Oil

So I like the smell of musk but this stuff is pungent and after a while starts to smell like its decomposing - and I don't mean wearing off. It feels like something organic decomposing. I think it's meant to smell that way. I have worn musk before and it can be much lighter. This is just too thick a smell. If you like that, buy it. I didn't.

I bought my first Madini Gazelle Musk years ago in northern California. I used it as an additive in a mixture of my own scent concoction. It was the only true musk scented oil I could find and I tried about a dozen or more. A couple drops gave me the desired effect, a strong lasting smell coupled with the other oils that had people asking what cologne I was using. When used alone this musk has a strong manly scent, that I might even call animal, not the flowery scent that many of the other "musk" oils have. The original purchases lasted for over ten years with no change in the scent. As I started to finally run out, and the store had closed in the hippie bastion of the north coast I checked here on Amazon. There it was, in a larger size container, not the little vial I first purchased. Just got it today. To my delight it smells exactly the same, a nice powerful earthy animal musk that should appeal to the inner beast in many of us. Long lasting. Few drops needed either straight from the jar or as an additive in a mixture. Mixes well with patchouli ( the rest is my secret mixture ) Just in case as a warning do not use it if there happen to be any African gazelle in the area.

Not the musk scent I was expecting..doesn't smell like musk to me at all...too medicinal.

Musk gazelle is one of my favorites. Be warned, it's strong and sharp at first, more than 2 tiny drops and you will smell way too strongly. It mellows musky and sweet, after many hours. Mine didn't come with the roll-on (thank goodness). If your bottle comes with a roll-on, just pop off the little ball.If you're looking for something a little softer than this, try musk Pierre...or ambergris. Ambergris is just a little lighter than gazelle, and Pierre is softer/sweeter still.

This is my favorite musk. It's bold, intense and long lasting. It's not too sweet or diluted like many musks on the market today. Not for the faint at heart or the shy. This is the scent for grown up, mature women. I've been attempting to rescue this very scent since the numerous times I've been to Egypt many years ago. This is the real thing, this is my scent!

I am so happy that I finally purchased madini musk gazelle.The scent is unisex and lasts for hours,however some say madini does not use real musk from a real deer or any animal that produces musk. I don't care it smells authentic to me.Try it just the same you will see why this madini oil is so popular.

Yes!! We learned of this marvelous scent from a lady in the French Quarter in New Orleans and just can't help ourselves - we LOVE it!!
