Crawl Space Power Vent - for 16" x 8" Foundation Openings

Fans in them quit within 3 months. Put new fans in them same thing . Quit within 3 months

This fan, at first glance, looks like a very well made product. It is in fact very well put together, and the fit and finish are excellent. I liked the idea that even though its externally controlled you can unplug it from the inside to further control the power usage. Here's the problem, why in the heck did they run the power cord through the side of the fan unit? The power cord has to run through a joint between other glass block or through the external frame?! Theres plenty of space on the inside of the fan, why didnt it thread out through there. I'm sure I could fix the issue, but for the price paid, it seems like the designers stopped caring after the initial build.

This is exactly what we needed! Being able to have both a fan and the closeable window was essential for us. There could be all kinds of uses, such as basement and/or bathroom applications, not only for vented crawlspaces. Excellent quality product, well packaged, delivered promptly. We bought 2 and are very pleased.

Great product!! Exceeds my expectations. A Little awning window for the crawl space! I always have to seal my crawl space vents with plywood for winter to keep the cold out. With this window it is so easy - just close the sash door and it’s done. When you open the sash the fans automatically start blowing the stale air outside.Very Good Quality and Looks Great!I have 4 more vent openings in my house, and plan to replace them with the ones without the fans.

Received my Crawl Space Power Vent (White) CPV1608 today and was very impressed with the build quality of the unit. I’ve installed the power vent and was surprised at how quiet the fans are. Also I’ve looked at other power vents and none of them could match the cosmetic advantages of the Glass Block Factory unit. I highly recommend the CPV1608 for anyone looking to vent their house crawl space.

We purchased two of the crawl space windows and one crawl space vent and we like how easy it is to vent our crawl space. Just open the windows or vent like you would a regular window and close when enough ventilation has happened. The other advantage of this particular vent is that when you close it, no rain or moisture can enter the crawl space. A really good product.

We purchased the Crawl Space Vent with ventilation fan for a damp space under our sunroom. Easy to use, quiet running, and a solid product. It's great that you can easily shut the window to turn off the fan and keep the cold out when ever necessary. Immediately started helping with what we thought was an impossible problem to take care of. We would recommend this product to anyone.

Seems well built. Would give 5 stars if the cord could come out the inside face instead of the center.
