Dell Chromebook 3120 Intel celeron n2840 2.16Hgz, 16GB Storage 4gb Ram(Renewed)

I purchased this device 3wks ago it had some power when I opened the box so I played around and put on charger overnigh. Next day fully charged I started pairing with my google account. I noticed the charge going down. Left thr device active for 4hrs and when I started to look at my account screen went black! Tried to reboot but to no avail. I panic because My information was on it. I put it on charge overnight and next day system still wouldn't turn on. I played around to finally got error message corrupt file??. After hours I got system to power and immediately tried to take my information off and sent back next day totally exhausting...

I don't care about the OS expiring.Once Chrome no longer works with the only website that this thing will open I will just install Linux on it.I am a homeschool parent, I purchased 2 of these to easily pass between my place and my children's place. Yeah at $107 I really don't care about much. Both of my children have excellent laptops for gaming.These are for accessing their curriculum. Just one single website. As long as the website loads, the videos load and the kids are able to take their tests. I'll keep the existing OS installed.Once the browser stops working, the OS gets hosed and in goes linux.The reason for not using their other laptops those things are too expensive to pass between two houses constantly. My children are still in grade school. $100 that hurts but not as much as $2,000!

Chromebooks have a "useful" life, meaning that after a certain time period, Google stops updating them. When I received the machine part of the setup process was for Google to update it. It did, but then a message appeared saying the machine would receive no more updates after September, 2021. I bought the Chromebook in July, 2021. Of course the machine can be used after that date, but operational and safety issues could occur. My advice to ANY buyer of a refurbished or used Chromebook (any make) is check that machine's remaining update life. I immediately returned the machine and received a full refund. ( I then bought a new PC with Windows 10S Home at about twice the price of the Chromebook - go figure.)

The product turned on, but my screen has issues. Looks like someone pressed down too hard on it. When I pay for a renewed or refurbished item, I don’t expect like new but I wouldn’t expect this issue with the screen either.

I read some good reviews and some bad ones. It's possible that others may have had bad experiences but I did not. I absolutely love my new little laptop. I've been working with it for several weeks now and I mean I have put it to work! It's perfect, great battery life, looks brand new, excellent screen, came right on and I logged right in and bam I'm working! I literally could find nothing else like it for the price and I'm not paying $500 bucks for a stupid laptop. It's a dell so it's a good brand and while I'm new to google brand of laptop I am actually loving it's simplicity. I will never go back to windows. Customer for LIFE!

Purchased two of these for my Children. They need to use laptops now for homework and use Chromebook at School so they are familiar with them. Perfect situation as they are not expensive and if they break, all I have to do is get another inexpensive one as a replacement, log in and all the settings and content is accessible quickly and easily. I recommended my aging folks get Chromebook as they are easy to use and work perfectly for what they need. Good for me as I am no longer needed for tech support. Either for my kids or my parents.

Although there was a problem with my first refurbished Chromebook, it looked like new and was immediately replaced with another that works great and also looks like new. So i give ANYHDD five stars for actually checking that their refurbished Chromebooks really are like new. Both were really well packed for shipping, which is important in any purchase. Now these Chromebooks just received their AUE but I don't see this as an issue as long as you don't use any extensions that you don't fully trust and preferably none at all, and secondly, that you don't do ANY financial affairs on these...save that for your laptop or desktop. Chrome doesn't update on these but as long as you are simply browsing and not buying these are great (and fast!) little machines. They don't use the Play Store, just the Chrome Web Store but as you shouldn't really be using extensions or apps on these that doesn't really matter. I am very happy with my little machine that starts in a flash and runs all day on its battery (mine is at 93% from new). A great bargain and an excellent seller in ANYHDD.Update*** I have tried out installing CloudReady chrome-lookalike on this (BayTrail CPU) laptop and wish to warn about this: you will have no native audio and the trackpad becomes very poor and unreliable. These are known issues but you may not know of them. The only answer to these issues is to use either USB or Bluetooth sound box and to plug in a wired or Bluetooth mouse. These work-arounds DO work, but kinda negate the handiness of the small size of the chromebook. However, CloudReady DOES give you a regularly-updated and more secure browser/OS. I will leave it up to you to decide whether it is worth it to you to install CloudReady considering these issues. I do not believe that they are going to update/fix these issues as it is not really aimed at Chromebooks anyway.

When I received the first Dell Chromebook I was hugely impressed. It did everything it was designed to do *****5star. I liked it so much I ordered a 2nd one for the bedroom. Both of these computers have crashed with frozen screens. It seems Microsoft downloaded an update March 1.2020. I did not authorize this download. Microsoft says maybe a fix late March??? So don't waste your $$$ buying this or any Win10 computerUPDATE: I was finally able to get one of the Chromebooks up and running. The keyboard is super sensitive and takes you wherever it wants. It constantly logs you out of web sites. I just spent 2 hours trying to order prescription refills. No luck so far.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve never had a Chromebook but my son uses it at school so I thought it would be best for him. Turns out this model will no longer receive security or feature updates as of September 2021, and doesn’t even support the Google Play store.Don’t waste your money

Tough easy to use and a perfect price.

Both units showed up on time with no damage whatsoever. Both look brand new ! Talk about saving my butt. With both children online learning these chrome books are perfect. Both work flawlessly. Totally recommend these guys.

Dell Book is very fast, good for surfing, perfect for any student, or simply for backup. I love the product, it is so worth it. Not very big but, very powerful. As I said a good buy!

This was a refurbished unit that came looking brand new. Has been working great. Long battery life. Good speed. We were not sure about getting a chrome book but it’s been great for our needs. We got it at a great price. There was a small issue with shipping but the seller dealt with it in a timely manner. Very pleased.
