Garden Fairies Stained Glass Coloring Book (Dover Fantasy Coloring Books)

These stained glass coloring books helped my daughter learn to color inside the lines! And they are great for any child who loves to use markers... rather than crayons or colored pencils. The pages pick up the marker color nicely and do not bleed onto the other side (as in traditonal coloring books). It was so much fun to tape them on our sliding glass door, and save them for a week or so. My daughter was extremely proud of her coloring and loved to see the pictures hanging up in our dining room. I really recommend the Garden Fairies Stained Glass Coloring Book as it is as much fun for Mom as for child!

LOVE this book! The pictures are beautiful and I enjoy coloring them with my assortment (Prismacolor verithin & soft core, Derwent coloursoft, Koh-i-noor polycolors, Marco Renoir & Marco Raffines) of colored pencils. If you like adult coloring you will love these stain glass color pages.

My granddaughters loved coloring these and then taping them to the windows in their house. I ended up buying others.

All of the coloring books Purchased, are exactly like the Dover Publishing originals, but I paid less on Amazon. Excellent shipping too .

Service was great but the books page are not as I was expecting as they are not paper. I will however enjoy spending time colouring in these lovely fairies.

I bought this for myself. I enjoy do something when I watch tv, and coloring was just the thing. The pictures are beautiful. I had fun with it. I suggest using colored pencils, instead of crayons. I wouldn't recommend this for a young child, too intricate.

My niece thought the "stained glass" business was totally cool. I guess you can hang these up so the light shines through your drawing...

I keep a special drawer for colouring materials, beautiful books, pads, equipment. You might be surprised at how many little boys and girls enjoy sitting up at a table creating gorgeous, careful, impressive well thought out works of art. They can be looked at from both sides. If you colour the reverse pages with different shades, you can create an even deeper hue. Crayons, paints, felt tips, acrylics, watercolours, even oil paints, mixed media too all work fine on the translucent surface.I can imagine adults also getting relaxation and satisfaction from filling in the outlines and seeing the attractive results.
