Minnesota’s Best Breweries and Brewpubs: Searching for the Perfect Pint Paperback – June 24, 2011

I got this for my son-in-law who is super into craft beers and microbreweries. He started reading this and went “I’ve not heard of some of these, some of these are no longer startups and my favorite brewery is T even included!” We checked the copyright and realized it’s over 10 years old. I would be thrilled if this were updated but right now it’s pretty much useless. Bummer.

The book is a clear straight forward guide to all the craft breweries in Minnesota. It provides brief descriptions of each pub or brewery and rates each type of beer on tap. It allows you to rate on your own as a means of keeping track of all the many choices. Directions to each establishment is also provided so all in all it is an excellent introduction to enjoying the many craft beers of Minnesota

I purchased this book (and paid a prime price for it) thinking that we could plan some road trips from it. Half the places are out of business because this book is 10 years old! Maybe I misunderstood "featured" products, but why would such an out of date book be "featured" now? Very disappointed in this purchase, but I did learn that I need to check the copyright date before my next purchase.
