Football Double Threat (Matt Christopher Sports Classics)

Review by 10 year old boy: This book was about 2 friends who played on the same football team. This book is about friends coming together to form a football team when their injured friend could not play. The boys overcame obstacles to become a team and to become friends. I would recommend this book to kids who play football.

My son was a typical 8 year old boy "I hate to read" - but he loves football and Matt Christopher books about Football have turned him into a reader. These are a little bit challenging for a 8 year old who is not a strong reader so he has mostly been reading out-load to me so I can help when he gets stuck...but I have seen huge improvement over the past months.

my 9 year old loved this book and used it for his book report would definitely recommend this book only negative was too much writing on the play by play of the football games
