Yellowstone National Park for Kids, Preteens, and Teenagers: A Grande Guides Series Book for Children

Love this book. My grandkids are going to Yellowstone and this has SO much great information for them to read.

Our kids are 4 & 7. But I really bought this because I didn't have time to read a grownup travel guide before our trip. This book had the perfect amount of information. We read about each section as we drove to it and the girls understood what they were seeing. They LOVED Yellowstone and we are already planning our next trip. The note about the junior ranger activities was invaluable. My older one was engaged the whole trip.

We will see how useful this is after our Yellowstone trip next summer

Better then all the adult books I bought! Explains everything simply but still scientifically. My 6, 7 and 12 year old loved it as well as me and my husband. It also explained the park and attractions in a much simpler and better way then the big tour guide books I bought.

We are planning a trip to Yellowstone and gave this to my Grandkids to help us plan the trip. I expect it to help!

Great book- my 13 y/o enjoyed it. Easy to read, but appropriate and interesting enough for a pre-teen. We'd been to Yellowstone before, but learned several new facts along the way with this book.

This was very useful in planning our trip to Yellowstone and I referred to it frequently during our trip to Yellowstone. Without the guide book, we would've missed all the great areas to Yellowstone to see.

I bought this for my grandson for Christmas as he is fascinated with the volcano and geysers.I was very disappointed that the photos are black and white and not very good quality. They really let the book down. It feels like it was to save money and the book is not cheap.I would not recommend it.

Die Liste zum Abhaken hätte man sich sparen können, die Mitbringliste enthält nur wichtigste Dinge - wäre also ebenfalls verzichtbar.Durch einige leere Seiten am Schluss erweckt das Buch den Anschein, es sei umfangreicher als es tatsächlich ist.Das Buch bietet allerdings eine gute Zusammenfassung einiger der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten, und die Erklärungen sind für Kinder gerade richtig (ausführlich genug, nicht zu viel, nicht zu knapp). Tipps für kleine Wanderungen sind ebenfalls dabei.Kurz, das Buch gefällt uns grundsätzlich, nur der Preis erscheint mir deutlich zu hoch.
