These are about 1/4" shorter than an original Ryobi replacement blade but that doesn't mater to me because they are definitely long enough to cut as deep as I need with at least three notches of depth adjustment on the Ryobi to spare. I go through a blade about two seasons so at this price I will this pack of 25 blades will probably outlast my 10 year old Ryobi edger even if I change the blade every season.It doesn't matter that the edges of these blades are not sharpened because they will be soon being I stay against the concrete when I use it and that will cut an edge on the blade for what it matters. I don't thing the original Ryobi blades had a sharpened edge anyway. As far as the profile of the Ryobi blades are when new you will see by the picture that profile is worn off by usage before long anyway.I have included a picture of the current well worn Ryobi blade I replaced on top of one of these blade so you can get an idea of what I started with when I replaced the blade.

I live near a public school that was left to overgrow for years by the local government and purposefully avoided by the local HOA due to costs associated with it's 1200 ft road frontage (3600 ft of edging just along the frontage when you account for curb and both sides of the sidewalk). Long story short - I adopted the trimming as a way of giving back to the community and eliminating the eyesore problem. When I started, curbs and sidewalks were wildly overgrown and weeds poked through every available crack. It has taken months of weekend volunteer hours to get it under control. Now that the worst is over, maintenance involves about a mile of edging with my Echo Pas-2620 straight shaft edger every 2-3 weeks, which consumes 4 of these blades and takes a little more than an hour including blade changes. I order in bulk to save money. These blades are not painted or treated, but they are inexpensive and they suit my needs perfectly. The blades are thicker than the standard Echo blades, so last longer than those did. At bulk prices, you can't go wrong.

Own a landscape/ lawn care business in Southwest Fl. We go all year round with over 50 accounts. I have tried every type of blade and they ALL wear down. I look to maintain my profits as best I can andare by far the best deal for the money.Do they wear faster than a brand name blade? Very hard to determine. Depends on use and wear they are being used. Near rocks and curbs then they wear faster. I or my crew notice no difference.They are the same thickness of the brand name blade. They fit perfectly to my Stihl and Husqvarna.They are balanced.They work just like my brand name blade.Bottom line, these are worth the money. Great deal and don't really see any difference in quality.I will buy again.

I liked the ease of installation & removal

These will last me a long time. The price is right and I am happy with them. I do not see the need to buy more expensive blades. These will do me just fine over the more expensive ones.

The blades fit perfect and seem to wear well.

I've used 5-6 already. They are priced right and get the job done.

Normal blades are 7 13/16 to 8 inches. These blades are only 7 5/16 long. You start out at 1/2 inch less per blade. If it is not 8 inches or at least nominal you should not list it as 8 inches.
