Native American Wisdom (RP Minis)

I was never so surprised to find a mini-book inside a big box, at least you could have sent this book in a bubble wrap padded envelope and not a big box, such a waste of cardboard and reason why I only gave this a four star and not a five star, other than that I am very please with the size of the book, it will fit nicely inside a pocket or inside my small purse. Thank you for the little book. and no thank you for the kind of package it had come in.

This tiny 3" X 3" book packs a whole lot of wisdom, thought, inspiration and spirituality gleaned from so many of our great Native American ancestors. What a tragic loss that these ideas, dreams and spirit are no longer a part of our every-day life in this country. We have lost much by overrunning and ignoring these great Indian cultures. Take a moment to look at what is inside this "little book" and be amazed and inspired.

It's full of great quotes but surprised me when it arrived. It's a tiny book, the kind one might put in a Christmas stocking. While the quotes are nice, they didn't seem nearly as strong as the one's that have appeared in a beautiful, large book that arrived in the same shipment. I was generally disappointed.

Having spent many days visiting Native American Reservations in South Dakota and Montana, I wanted this book to fill in the blanks with information not available in the "Official" reports and stories of the Tribes and people of The Great Plains. I was NOT disappointed in the least.

Loved this great wisdom in a tiny book

We love this thing. We've bought others as gifts as well; you can't go wrong for $5, and it's the best $5 we've ever spent. We recommend not reading straight through, but opening to a random page, and dwelling on that thought for a while. Short, easy to read, yet complex in content and construction. Great.

This little tiny book is full of wisdom.The ancient Greek philosophers do not have any thing over these Native Americans when it comes to practical wisdom.Few modern Americans know how wise these people were as I know of no other publication with this information.I use it a lot.Highly recommend this one.

I loved this book. I am Native American and was pleasantly surprised how many of the writings were from our tribes former Chief. Sauk and Fox Tribe, Chief Black Hawk. So many wonderful and incredibly wise men.

The Native Indians were so in tune with the Great Spirit. This book is a very small pocket sized book with nice photographs; it has quotes from various Native Indians; use their wisdom to live more like them day by day, and to be more in tune with nature and the Great Spirit that dwells within you.

Bought this for a friend, he was delighted with it but personally I think it was overpriced for what it was.

this little gem of a book took forever to arrive, (in fact the seller had to re post it!) but it was great when it finally reached me. Such a tiny but perfect little book, it contains some beautiful photographs with text based on different topics in the native American tradition. I would have given it five stars, if only it had reached me in time. The seller was helpful, at least.

Pictures paint a thousand words but the pictures here paint 10 thousand. A very good book but doesn't take up any space on the shelf unlike some books which take up far too much. Excellent for the size and the price.
