I bought a handheld wand style frother but ended up almost never using it. Why? It requires skim milk and we don’t drink it. Since you don’t need much milk for frothing, we would never use up a quart before spoiling. Enter the newer style frothing pitchers. The advantage: any type of milk whips up beautifully frothy, just like the coffeehouse. We had very good luck with Miroco’s kettle so we thought we’d give their frother a “whirl.”MIROCO FROTHER EASE OF USE:Mostly terrific. You fill the frother to either of two fill levels, depending on how much of the bubbly, foamy stuff you need. The lower fill level is just right for two cups of coffee. I added whole milk to the lower fill line, turned on the machine and the milk swirled until bubbles form, and then . . . VOILA! Rich, light froth. Total time to completion is just 1:35.We first added sweetener to the black coffee we brewed in our excellent Bonavita coffee maker. We tried two ideas. First, we made a batch by spooning the froth over the black coffee. This first idea was tasty and looked just like a rich dark beer with its head on top. However, we all preferred the second technique we tried. This involved a combination of first brewing coffee, then pouring in some of the frothed mixture, stirring it up. Then, for a final step, we spooned lots of the light froth on top. To my surprise, there is little difference in coffee satisfaction whether using whole milk or our usual half and half. The result is looks and and taste just like the best coffeehouse cappuccino. And, if you prefer latte, just use the same technique with less coffee, and more of the milk mixture.MIROCO FROTHER VERSUS WAND STYLE / CONVENIENCE AND CLEANING:No contest. The wand style must be hand held and then is messy to put down without mucking up the counter when it is coated with froth. The Miroco is relatively easy to use and clean. However, since the components are electric, be sure never to wash like the rest of the dishes. What works for me: I carefully fill the pitcher under the faucet, being sure no water runs down the side to get near the electrical components underneath. I pour out the water and repeat twice more. Then, a bit of the still sticky milk residue is left behind. I then take a moist paper towel, wipe it out, and it’s ready for next use.MIROCO FROTHER SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT:The fill lines are embossed in the same non-stick dark grey color as the rest of the inside of the unit. The color is just like a nonstick pan. Even under good kitchen lights, these are hard to see. When doing a second batch of froth right after the first, you need to use a paper towel to uncover the fill lines, but this is not difficult. However, for next generation I hope the company will do the inner fill lines in a light contrasting color.MIROCO FROTHER ADDITIONAL USES:There is also a warm setting with no froth that lets you heat up milk for hot cocoa with no risk of scorching. Just enough room for one cup capacity for each quick heating. Happily, no scorching like on the stove!There is also a cold milk setting for froth without the heat. We just got an excellent Oxo cold brew coffee maker we are quickly becoming fans of. The cold brew coffee along with cold frothed milk in the Miroco is excellent, too. And, you may not know that cold brew coffee keeps a week in the fridge and is also excellent mixed one part cold brew concentrate to three parts hot water. Frothed warm milk from the Miroco frother in combination with warmed cold brew gives you almost instant cappuccino that still tastes like the best from any high end coffeehouse.MIROCO FROTHER CONVENIENCE:Mostly, a pleasure to use. It’s larger than I’d anticipated so I’ve included a photo next to our Miroco electric kettle. We like the Miroco kettle almost as much as the Cuisinart that’s twice the price. I noticed that Miroco also makes both black and white frothers with same capacity and no handle. But since they are insulated and with a tapered hourglass design, you can pour with no handle. So, I’m temped to check out that one, too, since our cabinet space is at a premium.Below I’ll include my review of the Oxo Cold Brew coffeemaker, and also the kettle that’s great for heating water to make hot coffee from cold brew concentrate, and especially for teas at any final brew temperature. As you know, some teas are best at far lower than boiling temps.Hope this has been of some small help to bring a little bit of foamy delight to your everyday routine. . . Yes, I am THAT person that contributes my $5 every morning for my cup of Joe on the way to work. However, my routine has definitely changed during this “stay at home” pandemic period. I still needed my caffeine every morning but didn’t want to risk my health for a delicious cup of latte so I gave it another try to make coffee and tea at home. Without this frother, my coffee game was weak and everything tasted so bitter, yet bland. Drip coffee tasted cheap and old no matter what brand of beans I was using!This frother was the best thing that happened in my life as I am now going into work 3 times a week, but I am not buying coffeehouse lattes anymore! I am making delicious coffee and matcha lattes at the comfort of my home and it is such a delight! I have included a picture of my matcha latte and I used half & half to get it very foamy.Pros:1) This makes a frothy creamy topping for all of my specialty drinks all under two minutes!2) It is quiet and will not wake anyone in the house as it has a soft low whirl3) It comes with detailed instructions and it is easy to use! Two options - heated froth or cold froth. Cold froth is great with my cold brew drinks4) Fairly easy to wash as the material feels like a non stick pan inside. A tiny brush is included to help you get inside the crevices off the whisk (that pops our easily if needed)5) The see through lid makes it wonderful to see the final creation of the froth6) The unit comes with an extra whisk in case your original gets lost or damaged.The only con that I can see from using this product is that the stainless steel shows your fingerprints all over even after washing and using it for one use. I have attached a picture of an angle where it reflects that. It is a double edged sword to have it made in stainless steel because, it matches everything in my kitchen and it is beautiful!I love my milk frother so much that I have to say, I am my OWN barista. If I could, I would tip myself everyday (which pays for this item itself).

This not only came quickly, but it froths beautifully!! It froths skim milk just as well as whole milk! In 2 minutes or less it’s ready. We so enjoyed and look forward to many uses! Getting another for the office!

I was happy when I first got it because it’s frothing really good but unfortunately after just 2 months of hardly not using it that much since it’s stop working. I only bought this frother just for making hot chocolate since I don’t use milk on my coffee. It’s just sad that this machine doesn’t last that long. I contacted Amazon to resolved my problem and we did the basic troubleshooting but still didn’t fix it. I’m going to email the company if they can help me or replaced it. I’ll update about the outcome as soon as I heard from them.

I ordered this on December 28th. It worked great!! I even suggested it to my daughter who purchased one. I used it daily to heat and froth almond milk for my cappuccino however this week it stopped frothing and heating. I have been on Amazon 20 minutes relaying to return this or get customer service and the number says no one is available and there is no other way to contact the company except through this review. I would have given five stars in all categories but I have to say I’m not impressed with lack of customer service for this company and Amazon. I try to return and it brings me back to a customer service number and then I get a message that that number is not working. There is a 90-day warranty so I would like to return this and get a new one. Thank you!!!

Se obtiene espuma rápidamente, en menos de 2 minutos. Sirve perfecto con deslactosada light aún cuando recomiendan uso de leche entera. Lo único por lo que no estoy taaan convencida es porque no se puede lavar más que con mucho cuidado sin mojar la parte inferior de la jarra ni la base de la misma. Ya me las ingeniaré.

I saw a review from a Chef on Google about the MIROCO milk frother and decided to order it. It is by far the BEST FROTHER I have ever used. It works on milk (2% and 3%) and almond milk, which I often use. And the milk is hot! Highly recommend. I had ordered 2 other brands of brothers on Amazon, was very disappointed, and sent them both back!

Love this frother

I purchased this frother after returning a Zeppoli brand which did not froth well at all. This one, however, works beautifully, and creates nice rich foam. I have used whole milk, 2% and unsweetened almond milk, all with outstanding results. Recommend it highly.

Never used a frother before. Saw an insta influencer use this one, price was right so bought. Love it. Extremely easy to use, to clean and very quick frothing. Used oat, almond and 2% milk and all froth very nicely. Comparable to the take away coffee house froths. I don’t know what took me so long to get on the home frothing train! You can easily create a SATC Miranda cappuccino moment at home! IYKYK
