Its not a bad seasoning, just kind of "mild" or bland. You may want to add something to it like garlic salt.

Used this rub for the first time to make 10lbs of Pastrami on my pellet smoker. I was extremely pleased with the flavor profile of the rub and everyone raved about how good the pastrami tasted. I definitely recommend this rub for making pastrami and will be ordering more soon.

Fantastic rub for making pastrami. Makes a great crust in a smoker without burning. I just wish they sold a bigger size.
