This is the 2nd tablet cover I ordered. The first did not fit correctly so be careful to read which tablets these covers fit all the way down to the model number. I was looking for something that would provide protection for my 5 yr. old's new tablet. This seems to be very sturdy. We always have a few accidental falls and it has provided the coverage. I was a little concerned about the button that needs to be pushed to close the tablet stand, and have warned my daughter not to try to do it but to give it to me to do. I discovered this problem when I first closed it and got my finger pinched. It would be easier for little fingers to get caught.

I had the same model since I bought this tablet. The stand broke after quite heavy use. I found that I really needed the stand, so searched out what options existed. Eventually I settled on the same model, although in a different color. The previous cover protected my tablet through many drops, including grandchildren who were not quite as careful as they should be. While the handhold on the back means the tablet in the case cannot lay flat on the table, it also is a really useful handhold when reading in bed, grabbing it to go somewhere and so on. So I find I prefer not to remove that strap.

I bought this for a family member who likes to carry his tablet around cross body. It is great at first but the straps go through the silicone cover and they wear out pretty fast. I had to replace this every other month at most. If you don't need to use the case this way, then it would be a solid choice for you as my family member dropped their tablet pretty regularly and it never had any damage. I rated it low because the primary reason I bought this was for the cross body carry feature and it doesn't deliver on that.

I bought this to case to protect my work tablet. I'm responsible to replace/pay for it if it's broken. It's very good, protects well. I love the over the shoulder feature. Can't lose it if it's on my body! Keeps it handy for me.

I had a case when I got my tablet, but wear and tear wore it out my daughter had this one.

I have just received the case for my Galaxy tab A 2018 tablet. The product description stated that only the 2018 tablet would fit the case. That was easy to determine. In the settings area of the tablet you can find the model number of the tablet, among other things. My tablet model was the same as the case tablet in the case description. I examined the case thoroughly when I received it and it looks very well made. The directions for installation were easy to follow and easier to disassemble/reassemble than my iPad otterbox. I feel confident it will protect my tablet every bit as well as my iPad is protected in is otterbox. One thing I really appreciate is that this case is A LOT lighter than the otterbox. It also has a strap that attaches that will make it easy to carry if my hands are full and will keep me from dropping it if I am reading and fall asleep.

This case has an excellent design and is perfect for our 7 year old son. The only complaint is that the strap is fraying where it attaches to the tablet. The little leather piece broke off first, and now the strap is fraying. We have only had this case for 3 months and I cannot find a way to contact the seller to ask about a replacement.
