Roll out dough to a perfect thickness with the aid of these strips. Color-coded 6 piece package has 2 of each of the following thickness: 1/16" (2 mm), 1/8" (4 mm), 1/4" (6 mm). Place the same size strips on each side of the dough, roll the dough flat, over both strips at the same time. The dough will roll out to an even thickness. Perfect for all types of dough; cookie, pie, fondant, etc. A great tool!

Ok but disappointed
These of course are able to do what they are designed to do but I am not happy with them. In the product info it says that these have been coated to make them washable and I assumed it was also supposed to keep the sticks from splintering but it does not. The first time I tried to use them they left tiny splinters in my cookie dough. I of course was watching out for that and was not surprised but was certainly disappointed. I was also disappointed in the thinest of the sticks. One of them broke while I was washing it for the first time. I am still using the red ones and they are good for sugar cookies. Now I wrap them in plastic wrap before using them to prevent the splintering. As I have only used them 3 times now, I cannot attest to their durability.

product not as described
This product is not as described, and not what I bought it for. The current product description says: "2 of each of the following thickness: 1/16" (2 mm), 1/8" (4 mm), 1/4" (6 mm)", but there is no 1/8" strip, which is mainly what I bought these for. What I received instead were 1/16", 3/16" (close, but not 1/8"), and 1/4". They are a nice looking plastic and having the other ruler marks could be helpful so I might keep them (I suppose I could roll out pie crusts to an even 3/16" and then a little further), but I can't give them full marks when they're not as described. One other thing to note that other reviewers have complained about is that each ruler now does have the thickness clearly marked on the ruler.

Perfection Strips = Perfect Cookies
I love these perfection sticks! I tried the rubber rings on my rolling pin, but the rubber gives just enough (or I press too hard on my rolling pin) that I didn't get uniform results. The first time I tried the sticks they did slide around a bit; however, when I pair them with my Sili Bakes silicone pastry mat, they stay in place just fine. The 1/4" sticks are the perfect thickness to make decorated cutout sugar cookies. Being able to count on consistent thickness speeds up the rolling out, cutting and baking process and ensures that all the cookies are done baking at the same time. I've been recommending these sticks to all my friends who bake.

Perfect for baking even sizes cookies and pies!
I bake a lot of gingerbread men cookies and mini minced pies as presents for my friends and relatives every Christmas. These strips are perfect for the different thickness of pastry for the pies and gingerbread men. I hand washed them and wiped dry every time after use. Honestly, I have used these strips for the last 5 years and they are still in very good condition. I truly recommend these strips to all fellow bakers.

Where have they been all my life?!
These are great! I use them to roll evenly fondant, pastry dough and even marzipan. I love that I can use them both vertically and horizontally and adjust the space between them to the width I want.

Need 1/8 inch size ruler
The rulers seem well made. However, they aren't useful for rolling piecrust. The 1/16" ruler is too thin and the 3/16" ruler is too thick. There needs to be a 1/8" size in order to be useful to me. I returned mine. I can buy a 1/8" wooden dowel to do the same thing.

Great for smooth even dough.
Great for cookie dough and biscuits. Depending on the size of your rolling pin, you would have to figure out how much dough to put in between the sticks so the dough doesn't get stuck on the sticks. I first place the stick parallel each other, then put the dough between, lastly I place parchment paper on top of dough. Great if you need a smooth dough surfaces for icing work. For a novice at home baker I could do without.

Perfection Indeed!
These strips do exactly what they say they are going to do -- they help you to make your cookies perfectly sized. I have used them plenty of times to make cookies either 1/8th or 1/4th an inch thick for cookie decorating and they worked like magic. Prior to getting them, I'd often have unevenly cookies cookies that LOOKED flat but weren't. After, my cookies always cook well.
