A weigh with words
Only had them for a few weeks but these scales are working well so far and seem accurate. Good price and neat, slim design and easy to use. You have the option of the measurement to show in Kg, Stones & Pounds or just Pounds. I like the easy to read illuminated display.

Highly recommended
Fantastic product. Would highly recommend and would definitely buy again. Great value for money. The scales look really good quality and are really stylish - I ordered them in black. They come with the batteries included. You just pull the plastic tab out to activate the batteries. They are completely accurate and really easy to read. You can easily change the unit they weigh in, to kilograms, pounds, or stones and pounds. They feel really sturdy and are heavy enough to feel really solid, but are still lightweight enough to easily pick up. Instructions are given on a stick-on label on the scales, which just peels off easily, leaving no sticky residue, but it also includes an instruction manual. They arrived really well packaged, in polystyrene and a sturdy box, which is then packaged in another Amazon box. Definitely good value for money and worth every penny. Really, really pleased with them. I would highly recommend these to anyone considering buying a good set of weighing scales.

Accuracy
These scales are classy, I am very pleased with them. Having had many unaccurate scales over the years I was very keen to find a decent pair, where looking through the scales at Amazon I read many reviews, mainly the ones of the unhappy customers, it seems it was the same story over and over again on just about all the scales on sale no matter what the price, most people is seems were unhappy that the scales never gave the same reading. Well, it is the same with these if you dont do a little reseach, the best advice I can give is look on the web for advice above taking you weight, i.e. weigh yourself in a morning, once a week and in the same state of dress and location and you will find that these scales are pretty good, sure your weight will change from day to day but I find these scales to show a pretty accurate trend pattern in your quest to lose weight.

Easy to use and consistent in use
Easy to use and consistent in use. It's the consistency which is most important to me, as I'm regularly tracking my weight for weight-loss reasons. My previous digital scale was also consistent, although not quite so easy to use (it did not have "step on technology"). That was a HoMedics, and was very good, but finally packed up after at least 11 years.I had tried one other make in the meantime, but sent it back because it was giving inconsistent readings.I was afraid of this being the case with this one, but it seems consistent. That is if I weight myself 3 times in a row, it will give the same answer each time. Well, there is sometimes a discrepancy in the decimal part of the lb, but I don't think that matters. It also gives pretty much the same result as my wife's current analogue scales (which she prefers to digital).I like the ability to have it showing pounds, kilograms, or stones and pounds, and I can confirm that once it is showing a weight, you can toggle the switch at the back, and it will convert it to one of the other settings ok. (That had come up in one of the questions about the product).Personally, I weigh myself in stones and pounds, but record my weight in both stones and pounds, and also total pounds. I find the latter system (which the Americans use) actually better for keeping track of one's weight over time. e.g. it's easier to calculate the number of pounds you've lost (or gained!) between any two intervals. Also easier to graph, if you wish to.Also, many diet/health related books and online articles/blogs are American and would use pounds, when body weight is mentioned, so it's nice sometimes to be able to relate one's own weight to whatever is being discussed in the article, etc.It doesn't have extra bells and whistles, like body fat percentage, which the HoMedics one did, but the latter facility was very inaccurate I found, so stopped using it fairly quickly. The HoMedics one also did BMI, but that's easy enough to calculate or look up separately, and if you record your weight in a spreadsheet, you can set that up to calculate BMI automatically.I think I'd rather that the cost of these scales mostly goes on producing an accurate and consistent body weight measurement.

Good value, look smart, seem accurate.
Good value good quality scales. Look very smart and easy to clean. It was very easy to follow simple instructions to change from kg to stone and lbs (also an options to just have lbs).I’ve found them very accurate BUT when I use them, the first time I step on them each time they consistently weigh 4-5lb heavier than I am, but then I step off and back on and they are the correct weight (and stay at the correct weight then if I repeatedly step on and off in that session). I wonder if this is something to do with the unevenness of my floor tiles and the calibration... anyway, it doesn’t matter as I know now to ignore the first reading and just pay attention to the subsequent ones. Overall I am very satisfied and these are great for the price.

LOOK NO FURTHER FOR BATHROOM SCALES
There are several features that tempted me to buy these scales. The three choices of weighing either kilos, pounds or stones and pounds. I'm a stones and pounds person so that was the first requisite sorted. I wanted scales that were neat and unobtrusive and good to look at. Meets that requirement too. Easy to read comes next.... yes, these scales are very easy to read even in dim lighting. The pièce de résistance, accuracy. I weigh each week at a very well known slimming class. This nationally recognised slimming organisation has the most accurate electronic scales. They have to. The Active Era scales exactly match my weight taken at the slimming club class. So accuracy is proven. Buy these scales if any of the above criteria is important. Price is very competitive also.

These are nice lightweight scales which I only want to bring out now and again. They are very accurate too, so I can no longer tell porky pies, unfortunately for me hah!I would definitely recommend these scales.

Nice, easy to read.
So far, good. Pulled the tab to activate the battery, stepped on it. Wow! Much more accurate than my old scale. This has a sleek, modern look to it. Fits very well in my bath area with a “spa” theme. Since I had a doc appointment the day I received it, I could confirm the weight reading. Same clothing, shoes gave me a reading equal to doc’s scale to one ounce. Great price and value.
