Great Grandson us coeliac and loves baking, so these are superb!

Managed to get 1 cake per sachet of mix, so £28 later got 4 layers x2 8inch and x2 6inch, placing or sandwiching 2 together..Taste is not bad but grainy as they use rice flower. Doubt I will be offering to bake another 'free from' cake again.. For people who are gluton free, wheat free, soya free, nut free, and dairy free like this poor wee child then this mix would be fine. Its just ashame the cake does not rise much. Hence why only the 3 stars

Finished cake density quite nice, but far far too much sugar added, which gave it an unpleasant sugary crunch.

Repeat purchases, these are a staple for gf df birthday cakes. There are no baking instructions for a single cake on the box, only for individual mini cupcakes but bake low and long so they rise more evenly and reduce any dome effect. Use 2 boxes for a substantial birthday cake, sandwiched with any gf+ df buttercream ( personally I go 50/50 with something like Betty ctockers frosting plus flora vegan spread. Add a layer or jam below for a fab Victoria sponge. Can always double the buttercream and cover the cake totally if you so wish. A much loved treat.

This is a gf product with vegan option, but used the recipe on the packet for lemon and blueberry cake - scrumptious!Decided to try the gf version first before buying egg substitute to make for my vegan daughter-in-law.Will comment later about the vegan version.I can’t wait to try it. Highly recommended for gf recipe.

Good and easy to use

The package wasn’t wrapped properly and it turned up in a torn bag with cake mix leaking out. The ones that were useable were good but one of the three I had to throw away.
