Not plug and play
First of all, the unit came with no instructions. That was very surprising - you get a wifi name and password on a business card, but as the WiFi was not activated, hardly helpful..I had to go to the parent website to find out how to set it up, which involves plugging in a network cable to your computer, navigating into the router via a URL , tweaking user settings and retrieving a username and password - all that I could and did do - and then I connected it to my existing router. Unfortunately the pre-set username and password would not activate the unit. I tried several times and just gave up in the end.SpiderVPN did offer to set up a remote session later in the day, but I work in IT anyway so they would not have done anything I hadn't tried (except perhaps reset the login details at their end).What I did should have activated the unit (but for their site not recognising their own username and/or password combination). I had not the time nor the patience to keep trying, so it's gone back for a refund. Shame really, had it all worked it would have been useful.I would suggest that an average customer would likely struggle with this - it certainly is not plug and play, an amount of tech knowledge is required...and even then you need to hope you dont have a troublesome unit.It seems from the feedback on here that some or even most work OK and a few dont - sadly for me I had one of the latter :(

Just the job
Fab. Allows up tv to be watched abroad. Plug in to walk and existing router, set location, restart and connect firestick to it. Mum loves it so bought a second for her friend.

Please with the router
I love the router the only concern I have is when the 6-month deal runs out on my router how would I re-up the service? I went to the web site and register and saw nothing under my name. Other than that I love really do like the router.
