Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I bought this for my 2 Ragdoll cats as they both love drinking from the tap. I thought they might be a bit wary of it, but not at all. I’ve put in on the floor now but while I was trying it out, Sindy couldn’t wait to investigate and happily had a sneaky drink! Very easy to put together. Silent running, all you can hear is a gentle trickle of water when the flower is in but this is a very soothing sound 😀

Was a little worried , having bought this product, as thought it would be a waste of money - my cat doesn't drink at home, goes outside, drinks from wherever and falls ill from time to time, which means hundreds of pounds in vet fees, not covered by insurance, as it's less than 80 quid at a time....but many many times. Drinking was our big problem.This came, got assembled ( very easy, just follow the instruction), the fact that it had a filter was appreciated ( expect to be changing the filter every couple of months or so) and finally we got it plugged in. I was immediately put off by the sound, didn't expect it to be that loud, then I realised this was only temporary whole the filter wasgetting wet, etc. So we were left with a gentle sound one would expect from a home-based water feature. And this sound of running water seems to be doing the trick, as I have caught my cat drinking from there twice already, which is s great progress! Impressed and happy with the purchase.

Really good size holds 2L of water. Good price for a quality automatic water fountain. BPA free plastic. Filtered water (no more drinking out of rain puddles for my 2 cats. Continuous organic filtering means no hair, insects, dust etc. I was worried my cats would be afraid but it is completely silent. Love it!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This fountain is very easy to put together, the instruction is very clear. The water pump is so quiet, I can barely hear it. Water stays clean and fresh. Good value for money, good quality item.

I was attracted to this water fountain as in terms of design this is easily the easiest on the eye compared to competitors. The design is simplistic and would look good in any home. The set up was easy with clear instructions. Once the fountain was running I was quite surprised at how quiet it functions. You only start noticing it when the water level drops but as long as you keep it topped up it's nice and quiet. It has couple of attachment and my cat and dog drink from both with no issues. Very happy with the purchase!

My Dads ragdoll cat uses it a lot, well she is posh I suppose. Just thought most cats would use it but I've always had weirdo cats.It's too much of a hassle to change the water every day, you have to unplug and take the lead with you and have it over your shoulder as u cant remove the pump, but every few days it gets a good rinse and replaced. The carbon filters are a great idea. You can change the nozzle so you have a fountain with 4 gentle streams coming out or the other option is for a spring-like effect i.e. gentle bubbles up like a spring would???!Glad I bought it though and can see most people will have more 'normal' cats than mine!Putting it together, I'm dyslexic so it didn't make too much sense but I got there, the diagram doesn't cover all the parts i.e. there is a piece of foam and after a while it's obvious where it goes but come on, get the instructions right! How hard can it be to do a step by step method? If I was elderly or dyslexic +++ I may have got frustrated and chucked it!I don't understand people saying about the noise! You can hardly hear it, really gentle trickle, they must live in 0db properties! If that's the case and you need silence, well don't buy anything that has a motor or will cause some noise as you will hear it. Personally, it's so quiet and I think as it's relaxing it could aid sleep/relaxation etc, the problem is I had to use the loo loads, only joking! But seriously you can't hear the motor (its 2W of power!) and it's just the trickle of water.Hopefully, my video demonstrates this point.So, to summarise, 4 points from me, great idea, just minor letdowns really i.e. no ultrasonic mind trance to force fussy cats to drink to get their kidneys flushed out and the instructions/power cord having to be taken with the unit when filling up. Doubt its an electrical hazard as its low voltage with a transformer.I bought the spare carbon discs too, but after a month they still look fine but starting to turn!

Our cat won't drink from a bowl, and only like running water. To start with we had a different fountain, but he loves water so much and just wanted to play in the ripples and catch the water from the waterfall. This meant we often came down to puddles of water where he'd moved the fountain spilling the water out.This however has been perfect, hasn't spilt once, he can't move it around, and he seems to actually drink from it rather then play with it. You can remove the flower to create a different effect however he much preferred the gentle trickle from the flower. It is quiet, occasionally you hear the gentle trickle noise but it's almost like a water feature, quite relaxing you can't hear the motor at all.Honestly I wish we had found this one sooner
