Rebel Yell (Savage Texas Book 4)

I have received this book but have not read it yet, I anticipate it will be as good as all previous Johnstone books, looking forward to reading it, I pre-order all of this authors books as they come up to buy, it is hard to find them in a close store as I am in a small town so certainly the convenience of ordering from Amazon makes it well worth being a prime member. All of this authors books are good reading, I do think the original books by this pen name were best when he was alive but they continue to be entertaining and certainly better then most anything on TV for entertainment

Rebel Yell is a fast paced gun fight from start to finish. Johnny Cross is fast with a gun and not many are faster which soon because evident when Johnny faces off against three gun hawks. The three bad guys try to insure their success by setting two back shooters in a restaurant. To their dismay Johnny's partner was having lunch in the same cafe. When the smoke clears five bad guys are dead.Be prepared for an adventure filled with good guys that come together and defeat a large group from destroying their town.

This is an awesome book. I fully enjoyed reading this book from the first page to the last chapter. I am looking forward to reading many more Webster's written by William W.and J A. Johnstone.

I enjoyed this western story of shoot outs, old west ranches and many a rebel yell, By Yankees?The story of Johnny Cross and the cross ranch.

I enjoyed reading this novel. I have read other novels by this author and enjoyed them, also. I would recommend this novel to everyone.

i thought there was too many words about detail. long description of what everybody was wearing including destription of their boots, who they had killed, what they did in the war, and who they knew, a lengthy description of what the land looked like, all the building at the ranch, every building in the fort in great detail. it was almost like this was a tottaly different style of his other books. the book ended with a good plot that did not develope until late in the book.For me way too much filler just to have a lot of pages.

was very pleased with the way the story brought all the people together would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a western tale.
