I had ordered the nutcracker a week and a half before Christmas with expedited shipping. It arrived a week after Christmas. I do understand that a lot of people had late packages this Christmas and I was willing to let that go. However, when I opened the package, I noticed a small little chip on the mouth of the nutcracker. I asked my girlfriend if she wanted me to return it and she said no. I guess there were sympathetic feelings involved knowing that the nutcracker was probably tossed around and abused by disgruntled post office employees for 3 weeks. Even though it was late and there was a small chip, it is actually a beautiful piece and well made. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one from this company

The nutcracker arrived just in time for Christmas but the legs were broken.

This is an authentic German made item. Great craftsmanship, therefore pricy. But the ONLY thing you want to get if you want one. I was happily surprised by how quickly it was shipped from Germany too. Thank you!
