Rage Outdoors Hypodermic +P and SS85 Replacement Blades, Silver, 85/100 Grain (39805)

I have been using rage broadheads for at least the last 10 years with great results. Now that I have 2 kids also in the bowhunting mix, I am attempting to find ways to control my costs a bit. Between my kids and I, we have shot 3 deer this year and many other creatures and I find myself "burning" through a lot of broadheads in a year. Generally speaking, I shoot a broadhead once, and replace. However, I noticed you sell replacement blades and the cost was a lot less that buying new broadheads, so I purchased a 3 pack (SKU # 18322 01172). Boy was I disappointed, they are not even remotely close to sharp. I have used the same method since I was a kid (30+ years) to determine if a broadhead was sharp enough to take an animal, I must be able to shave with it (arm hair). The replacement blades don't even come close. As a matter of fact, they don't even cut paper. Rage demands a premium for their products. In result, I expect something I would not need to sharpen. More than likely I will just toss these as I will always second guess if they are sharp enough before I let my arrow fly, and if I am to take any animal, I must do everything in my power to ensure a quick, human kill. These blades don't cut the job (pun intended).

Got my deer last weekend and only went 10 yards.
