Truth of the Heart: An Anthology of George Fox, Revised Edition

Excellent compilation of George Fox's thoughts
Ambler did us all a service by compiling and arranging bits from George Fox's letters and writings into a coherent vision of Fox's unique contribution to spirituality and religion. Through this book, I feel I finally understand the vision of the early Quakers at depth. There is so much more to Fox than "an infinite ocean of light and love, which flowed over the ocean of darkness." Highly recommended.

A Deeper Look into the Quaker Faith
As a Quaker and a reader of books about other faiths, I found this book insightful, well written and heartfelt.

Great Read!!
Very insightful read!! A book that feels 'timeless' and that can be dipped into every now and again rather than from start to end. A helpful read for my own personal growth!

New LIGHT on an old favourite!
Rex Ambler's notions on the start up of Quakerism is not new to us, but this book is well worth studying, especially if one were new to our ways. As with all Rex's publications it is well researched and made easier than some to read.A book which should sit in every Q library, if not all libraries per sei!
