This is way better than the old beat up chrome bumper I had on there. 1997 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4x4. My old bumper had been rear ended twice. It was stout though and only bent a little while both times the cars that hit me were totaled. One of the people that hit me was in a student in a driver school vehicle. The install went well. I had previously installed a hitch on the truck so that made it slightly more difficult. The two hook tabs on the brackets will need to be cut off if you have a hitch receiver on the truck. There should be a slot for the tabs in the receiver but it metal will be too thick to get the tabs to hook. Cut and grind them flat for best results. Almost no final adjustment was needed. Make sure to torque everything and I usually use a dab of loctite on bumper bolts. Great product, just like oem.

Good value for the money. No problem installing it, but I did remove the old bumper once before to paint it so I knew how to do it. Pretty straight forward.

I thought the installation was easy. I didn't use the new brackets. It was easier to use the brackets I already had. Also it was easier to use the bolts that connect the bumper to the bracket not the bolts on the frame so no adjustment is necessary otherwise everything would move and need to be adjusted again to align everything. Two negatives with this product. As you can see I'm the pics the bolt threads are wrong. I had to reuse my old bolts because the new ones are different type. Fine vs coarse. If you are starting with nothing this is going to be a problem because you won't be able to mount the bumper. Also, the license plate light cover was broke around the screw hole. It was tightened too much at the factory. So I reused my old ones. Other than that as you can see they look just like the original except the top plastic doesn't say toyota but you could reuse the old onesimple if it bothers you.

Bumper was packaged well and bolted right up. Love the black look over the chrome.

arrived much quicker than expected delivery date. Products was as described and fit nicely. Once I got the old bumper removed this only took about 10 minutes to install.

Bumper fit was perfect, i reused the original support brackets as they were not damaged. As second photo shows one support bracket nut was misaligned so it would not have worked without some drilling. That said GREAT PRODUCT.

Ordered for a 2003 Tacoma that had a rusted through bumper from salt used on VT roads. Bumper arrived early and was better than I expected. Sturdy metal, all the fasteners and even replacement bumper mounts that attach to the frame. Well worth the cost. Easy to replace. Just spray penetrent on your existing mounting hardware several times for a few days in advance of replacing to facilitate bolt removal.
