God Of War: Prima Official Game

I'm probably a pretty mediocre PS2 player so I regularly need strategy guides or a few cheats to help me finish games. Now you know that I'll say I found this guide excellent. The game itself is so huge that there are so many extra items hidden in places and that's where this guide comes in handy. I found the guide generally easy to follow but if there was anywhere you're stuck you can always go on the DVD and actually see the walkthrough being performed!!! The DVD also has a load of extras including how they made some scenes and trailers for the game.However what I really loved about this guide was the stuff about Greek mythology included and the artwork sections which show developer stages for many aspects of the game including how Kratos ended up looking how he does. The whole book is beatifully presented and organised much better than some other hastilly produced game guides I have used out there. So I'd recommend purchasing this if you're stuck on the game, but also if you just love the game and want to see more. I hope this helped.

The review below is spot on with one glaring mistake - there is NOT a DVD included with this guide. It is an excellent aid to the game but don't expect to be shown how to play the game via the DVD because it is NOT included. The guide is well worth a look for any fan of the game. I hope this helps and prevents anyone buying this (as I did) expecting a DVD tutorial of this great game..
