Oasis Guitar Grip-Strip

This works, and it's a nice quality, but honestly I feel it's a lot to pay for a small strip of rubbery fabric. It's nice if you're wearing black, but otherwise, I use a non-slip hardwood floor rug pad to keep my guitar from sliding on my lap. Wish I'd figured that out before I spent the money.BUT, it works. I think it's just way too small for the bucks.

The grip strip is meant to lay on one of your legs in the lap area. For Acoustic guitars and graphite guitars this is a requirement for me when I sit down to play the guitar. It does not mar the guitar, and gives just the right grip to stay in place on my lap. I have a grip strip for each of my acoustic guitars in their case so I have one with me always.

A simple piece of texture rubber that’s safe even on French varnish. Doesn’t slip on the guitar or your pant leg. Highly recommended. A must have for the classical guitarist.

What a rip off!!! $12 for a thin piece of rubber 4x8 inches. Probably cost about a dime to produce.

I purchased the grip strip because my classical guitar slides down flat into my lap as I play. The strip is advertised as being able to stop that slipping. It doesn’t. I have used the strip every day for several weeks and the condition remains, unabated.

I bought this product to use with my Troster classical guitar leg rest. It should have been a perfect match but the Oasis guitar grip strip slid off my leg every time I tried it.
