Kokoro Haramaki for Women Large Black

I've been looking for something like this for some time. This fits well and doesn't ride up which is perfect. It has an added bonus of giving a little support to lower back and keeps you warm while stopping that gap appearing between your trousers and shirt! Highly recommended!

The haramaki itself is nice but after 2 weeks of using it i noticed some white loose strings coming out at the bottom, hairthin and elastic. I believe these make the fabric stretchy and now that some of them are broken the haramaki might end up becoming useless after a few washes. A shame for such an expensive product...

Great to keep my core body temp warm. Going by their size guide I went for a Ladies large, but it's too big - managed to find a medium elsewhere which is a better fit and keeps me warmer as it's more snug. Also, after just 3 washes this large one has faired well - some of the elastic fibres are already sticking out of the fabric -was washed as described on the label. Expected better quality at this price.

I suffer with sore hips when they get cold, i normally try and wear as many layers as possible. This has made it so easy to layer up, it is lightweight, i was worried that as it was not cotton or a breathable fabric that it may not be a comfortable warmth, but this worry was unfounded. It is a thin fabric, but really warm and quick to provide the warth. It is discrete even under fitted dresses. I now have two so that i can always have one available. They are wonderfully soft, i have the purple, which is nice and bright as well as the black. They have reduced the pain that i was feeling in my hips, They are small and fold up well, so if i have worn it in the morning and no longer need the band of warmth i can pop it in my handbag. It washes well and has not lost colour (in either shade) or shape through washing or drying.I used to need to sleep with a hot water bottle on my hips in winter, i have worn this to bed on very cold nights, and not required the water bottle. Which has made a huge difference for me.I wear between a 16-18, i bought the large, they stretch so much, i may buy the size down for next year. Even being slightly loose i have never found it has ridden down, or up (and i have worn over tights). It has enabled me to wear dresses to work in winter, and have the warmth that i need.

I was a little unsure of this at first. I didn't think it really made a difference. It was no different to just wearing an extra layer. But I have to say after giving it a bit of time, I love it! It really is cosy. I suffered with cold in my lower back and being a football mum my weekends were difficult. This is like a constant hug. It is very discreet. No one knows I'm wearing it. My son has taken to pinching it from me so I've ordered him a kids one for Christmas!
